Permanent traffic order: Chester - Upper Northgate Street (one way traffic and bus lane)
|NOTICE is hereby given that on the 23rd May 2019 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into force on 24th May 2019.|
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling in any direction other than northbound on the following length of road (including the bus lane) on all days:
• Upper Northgate Street, Chester :-
Between its junctions with George Street and Delamere Street
The effect of the Order will also be to prohibit any vehicle other than buses, taxis, solo motor cycles, pedal cycles or authorised vehicles to be in the bus lane or to turn right from Upper Northgate Street into Delamere Street on all days.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers, or that any of the relevant requirements has not been complied with in relation to the Order, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
