Permanent traffic restriction

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Prohibition of waiting) Order 2018

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road:
  • Beech Grove (both sides) - (i) from its junction with Canadian Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction; and (ii) from its junction with Lime Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a north-easterly direction
  • Canadian Avenue (south-west side) - from a point 15 metres north-west of the centre line of Beech Grove for a distance of 30 metres in a south-easterly direction
  • Canadian Avenue (north-east side) - from a point 15 metres north-west of the centre line of Panton Road for a distance of 30 metres in a south-easterly direction
  • Clare Avenue (north side) – (i) from a point 15 metres north-west of the centre line of Lime Grove for a distance of 31 metres in a south-easterly direction; and (ii) from a point 15 metres south-west of the centre line of Laurel Grove for a distance of 30 metres in a north-easterly direction
  • Laurel Grove (both sides) - from its junction with Clare Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north-westerly direction
  • Lime Grove (both sides) – (i) from its junction with Panton Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south-easterly direction; and (ii) from its junction with Clare Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north-easterly direction
  • Lime Grove (north-east side) - from a point 15 metres north-west of the centre line of Beech Grove for a distance of 30 metres in a south-easterly direction
  • Panton Road (both sides) - from its junction with Canadian Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north-easterly direction
  • Panton Road (south-east side) - from a point 15 metres south-west of the centre line of Lime Grove for a distance of 31 metres in a north-easterly direction.
Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposal may be examined at the Council Offices, Ground Floor Reception, The Forum, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 13 July 2018 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
