Permanent traffic order

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Prohibition of waiting – 1 May – 31 August 10sm - 3pm) Order 2017

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road:
  • Walmoor Park (north side) – from a point 23 metres north east of junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction;
  • Walmoor Park (west side) – from a point 53 metres north east of junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 119 metres in a northerly direction;
  • Walmoor Park (north side) – from a point 171 metres north east of junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 13 metres in a north easterly direction;
  • Walmoor Park (east side) – from a point 106 metres north east of junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 62 metres in a northerly direction;
  • Walmoor Park (northerly east - west leg, both sides) – for its entire length including easterly end;
  • Walmoor Park (east side) – from a point 52 metres north east of junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 43 metres in a northerly direction;
  • Walmoor Park (southerly east – west leg, both sides) – for its entire length including easterly end;
  • Walmoor Park (south side) – from a point 26 metres east of its junction with the B5130 Sandy Lane for a distance of 33 metres in a north easterly direction; 

Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposal may be examined at the Council Offices, Ground Floor Reception, The Forum, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by Friday 26 January 2018 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
