Made Notice and Plans for Blacon Point Road, Chester (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that on 7 May 2019 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into operation on 10 May 2019.

THE CHESHIRE WESTAND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(BLACON POINT ROAD, CHESTER)(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2019

The effect of the Order will be to 
1.    Prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths of road
a.    Blacon Point Road (north side) 
i.    From a point 13 metres east of its junction with Ashmuir Close for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction.
ii.    From a point 187.5 metres west of its junction with Ashmuir Close for a distance of 24 metres in a westerly direction.
b.    Blacon Point road (south side) 13 metres east of its junction with Ashmuir Close for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction.
c.     Ashmuir Close (both sides) from its junction with Blacon Point for a distance of 6 metres in a southerly direction.

2.    Prohibit waiting between 08:30 and 09:30 and 14:45 and 15:45 Monday to Friday on Blacon Point Road (north side) 
a.    From a point 22 metres west of the centre line of Ashmuir Close for a distance of 25.5 metres in a westerly direction.
b.    From a point 105 metres west of the centre line of Ashmuir Close for a distance of 82 metres in a westerly direction.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision therein on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from 7 May 2019 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
