VINCI Construction UK become the Grosvenor Museum's latest Corporate Partner
9 September 2020VINCI Construction UK, currently working on Chester’s development of Northgate and in Ellesmere Port for a new public hub building is the latest company to become a Corporate Partner of the City’s Grosvenor Museum. The news comes at the same time as archaeologists working on the Northgate development have discovered several important Roman artefacts including a rare gaming piece made from bone.
The Grosvenor Museum’s Corporate Partnership scheme was set up to enable businesses to support the museum to care for its collections, develop exhibitions and share Chester’s exciting culture and history with residents and visitors. One of the oldest museums in the North West, the Grosvenor Museum attracts over 80,000 visitors a year. Having been closed during lockdown it has recently reopened.
In return for their generous financial support, the museums Corporate Partners can choose from three levels of membership and receive benefits including VIP invitations to attend exhibition openings and discounted hire of the Grosvenor Museum’s lecture theatre. In addition, partners can sponsor an object of their choice and become involved in the day to day running of the museum. Staff from the museum’s current Corporate Partners have helped with washing finds from archaeological digs and conserving important artefacts.
