 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Grosvenor Wharf Road Outside secure bike storage shed, within gated residential complex entered by wooden door hinges being unscrewed.  A number of bikes from within taken. Specialized Hard rock disc bike and Pinnacle Cascade 10. among those taken.
  • Grange area – 
  • Mill Lane – Home owner has inadvertently disturbed offenders in the process of removing childs motorcycle from shed by accidentally turning on outside security light and hearing a commotion outside and scrambling over the fence.  He has found the insecure padlock removed from shed and the motorcycle on the grass.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Wharf Lane – Outer pane of upstairs window damaged by possibly pellets from an air rifle – male arrested.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Hooton Road – Tyres on a disused site set alight.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Central area – 
  • Thomas Telford, Whitby Road – Samsung Galaxy, left unattended on table taken.
  • Pooltown area – 
  • Morrisons – Male using Vauxhall Van, no registration, has purchased items from the garage shop and denied obtaining fuel.
  • BP Garage, Overpool Road – Black BMW, no registration, has driven off after obtaining £109.44 of diesel and making off without any attempt to pay.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Leighton Road – 2 signs erected by land owner stating ‘no bicycles or horses to use the path’ removed by unknown.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Beaumaris Drive – Citroen Xsara has front offside window smashed to gain entry. Contents of glove box and door pockets left on front seats. Search also made of bags on rear seats and internal car CCTV removed from front and rear windows.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Deeside Court, Parkgate Road – Insecure Ford Transit, parked in residential area whilst men working in area entered and tools taken from within.
  • Old Quay Hotel, Station Road – Ford Connect van, parked insecure in car park entered and quantity of tools taken.  
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Neston – 
  • The Witterings – Vauxhall Corsa has tyres slashed – repeat victim.
Other incidents of note 
  • Whitby area – On Tuesday 28th April at approx. 405 pm a female walking along Thamesdale, carrying her purse, was approached by an unknown male.  This male shoulder barged her causing her to be pushed off balance.  He has then ripped her purse from her hand and run off in the direction of Whitby Park.
