10 to 15 May 2015
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Pooltown area – 
  • Sutton Way - Hole smashed in door window.  Appears someone may have attempted to put their hand through in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Stiperstones Close – Entry gained into property by unknown means.  Untidy search made through out.  Not known at this time what has been taken.                
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Pooltown area – 
  • Pooltown Road - 2 unknown males have entered a vehicle, taking the hand brake off to move it away from the garage door.  They have failed to get entry into the garage and made off when disturbed.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Chester Road - 2 unknown males, dressed in black gain entry to garage.  They are seen to make off in the direction of Ascot Road with a mountain bike taken from the scene.
  • Church Lane - 2 unknown male offenders gain entry in to garage but make off when disturbed.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Central area – 
  • Newnham Drive - Rear upstairs bathroom window smashed by known means.
  • Whitby Road – 2 males banging on the door of a flat have caused damage to the lock and door.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Heath Avenue – Stones thrown at window causing to shatter.
  • Groves area – 
  • Woodlands Infant School, Eddisbury Road - Youths attempt to remove goal posts causing damage.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Seymour Drive – Brick thrown through window.
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Lower Mersey Street - £140 stolen from unattended bag in men's changing room at the Holiday Inn.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Stanney Lane – Offender has entered gym area of David Lloyds and removes a black Apple IPhone 5, left unattended on a treadmill.
  • Grange area – 
  • Queens Gardens – Lead removed from roof of bay window.  Found on the ground next to window.
  • Joan Bartlett Close – Communal garden entered and rose arch taken.
  • Princes Road – Unknown offender has seen a holdall outside the address and taken it.  Holdall contained clothing, bank cards and driving licence.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Cross Street – Over two separate days an unknown offender has taken 3 hanging baskets.  2 have been taken on one occasion and the offender has returned the following evening to take another.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:
  • Whitby area –  
  • Stanney Lane – Road roller removed by unknown means/offender.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • South Road – Yard of commercial premises entered and rear lighting cluster removed from JCB.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Station Road – Mercedes, parked on car park of B&Q has both front and rear registration plates, displaying registration AJ53 SBV taken.
  • Pooltown area – 
  • Pooltown Road - Taxi licence plate removed from rear bumper of Black Vauxhall Vectra MV57 NZP.  
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Croft Court – Unknown male witnessed approaching securely parked Vauxhall Astra at the rear of the premises on public parking area.  After smashing the drivers window he has thrown a lit item in causing the vehicle to catch fire. 
  • Milton Road – Honda Civic has stone thrown at rear windscreen causing it to shatter.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Clover Birches – Vauxhall Mokka found to have screw in tyre – 2nd time this has happened in a matter of weeks.
