 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Sutton Hall Gardens – Entry gained via front door without any obvious damage having been caused.  Rooms searched but no details of any property taken at this time.
  • Rivacre area – 
  • Parklands View – Front door forced open causing lock to break to gain entry into the property. TV taken.                 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Crescent Road – Lock taken off shed to gain entry.  Unsure if anything has been taken at this time.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • Hooton Service Station, Neston Road – Unknown offender has used metal gate next to building to climb up to a higher level window where they have broken and removed glass.  Entry not gained into building. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Dove Close – Secure shed door forced causing lock to fall off. Bouncy castle and vacuum, for inflating/deflating taken.
  • Tees Court ­– Wheelie bin climbed on by offender to gain entry in to the garden over the fence. Padlocked removed from shed.  Nothing believed taken – red tool box found next to bin which did not belong to property owner.
  • Central area – 
  • Newnham Drive – Shed door found wide open after hasp lock unscrewed.  Nothing appears taken at this time.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Kintyre Close – Rear garden entered by unknown means.  Screws removed from lock to gain entry into shed.  Nothing believed taken.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Firenza Avenue – Damage to rear glass door and window caused by unknown implement.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Vale Road – Selection of ornaments/plant pots thrown from raised front door area.
  • Whitby Hall, Whitby Park – 4 windows smashed with bricks.
  • Grange area – 
  • Eccleston Avenue – Ground floor double glazed window broken by unknown means.
  • Neston – 
  • Drake Road – Wiring pulled from side of property.
  • The Cross – Blunt instrument has been used to damage the sign and lighting at one of the shops. 
 Theft
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Thornton Road – Galaxy S5 removed from unattended coat pocket on play area.
  • Central area – 
  • Woodfield Road – Large quantity of tools, contained in a snap-on box and 3 petrol lawn mowers, all covered over in rear garden taken.
  • Whitby area –  
  • EP Sports Village, Stanney Lane – Apple IPhone 6, left unattended on top of sports equipment taken.
  • Grange area – 
  • Sutton Way – Black Carrera Fury mountain bike, secured in communal area taken.  Offenders have removed the rear wheel and padlock which have been left at scene.
  • Neston – 
  • Clayhill Industrial Estate – Whilst shipping container being delivered to property an unknown offender has removed a quantity of BBQ’s totaling £9,000.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
  • Whitby area –  
  • Ramsey Road – Vehicle parked at residential address entered by unknown means.  Quantity of tools taken from within.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Heath Lane – 2 males disturbed trying to enter Ford Transit van.  Disturbed by alarm sounding.   - Males observed leaving area in a white Peugeot partner van.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Parkgate Road – Ford Fiesta, parked in car park of Ship PH?  has rear passenger window smashed to gain entry.  Access has then been gained into the boot, via rear seats and handbag containing purse, keys, cash, cards and driving licence taken – Handbag later found in stream in nearby field with cash and cards taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Ure Court – Ford Focus, parked on residential street has windscreen smashed by unknown means.
  • Tees Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on roadside has rear windscreen smashed.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Whitby Park – Flowering plant pulled from pot in garden area and damage caused to fencing.
  • Grange area – 
  • Sutton Way – Ford Fiesta has been sprayed with silver paint on the nearside mirror and wing.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Heather Close – Renault Megane, parked on residential road has nearside window smashed.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Leighton Road – Wire in boundary fencing cut.  Logs also dragged across land and path on private land – Repeat occurrence.
