 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Sutton area –  
  • Sutton Way – Rear door to conservatory forced to gain entry.  Tidy search carried out and dishwasher, kitchen bin curtains have been taken.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Wood Lane – Glass panel in door smashed and offender/s have reached through to open door. All rooms searched. Not known what items have been taken at this time.                
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Oil Sites Road – 2 males climb secure perimeter fence into unattended industrial site and cause damage to mess cabin by smashing glass containers and setting off fire extinguishers – 2 males arrested.
  • Cromwell Road – Metal container on site of Northern Case Supplies, has lock forced to gain entry.  Quantity of tools taken from within.  CCTV shows offender as being male and using a flatbed Ford Transit vehicle.
  • Telford Road – Lock forced on compound to enter M & R Hydraulics site.  Once on site lock forced from container and large quantity of items taken, including a generator, compressor and Karcher washer – possibly same offender/s as the Cromwell Road incident as CCTV shows same type of vehicle being present.
  • Westminster area – 
  • North Road – Lock forced on gate of local elec. substation. Lock forced on side door to gain access to building where a quantity of copper earthing has been removed.
  • Station Road – 2 males reported in the yard area of &Q – Arrester for attempt burglary.
  • Central area – 
  • Cromwell Road – Metal container on site has lock forced to gain entry.  Quantity of tools taken from within.  CCTV shows offender as being male and using a flatbed Ford Transit vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Whitby area –  
  • Deeside – Side door of garage prised open to gain entry.  Forme Stearnsdale mountain bike in black, orange and white and Schwin Maverick mountain bike in white and blue taken from within.
  • Chester Road – Screws removed from shed lock to gain entry.  Giant Talon mountain bike in blue, white and grey taken from within.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Ascot Drive – Garden shed entered after both hinges snapped off.  Nothing believed taken.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Tryfan Way – Offenders have gained entry to the rear garden by climbing over fencing.  £600 worth of rattan furniture was then passed back over fencing.  Home owner has come out into garden during early hours, noticed furniture missing and heard voices at the side of house.  He has then disturbed 2 males who have run off leaving items behind.
  • Seymour Drive – 3 sheds in rear garden entered.  One shed has had the window smashed and the other 2 have had the locks jemmied to gain access.  A caravan, also at the rear of the address has had an unsuccessful attempt made to enter which has caused damage to a window.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Gateacre Court – Garage, within garage area has 2 padlocks cut off to gain entry. 2 Carrera bikes and a portable gas cooker taken from within – reporting person has also noticed the padlocks cut from another garage and the doors left open but as of yet no reports have been received relating to this garage.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Wellwood Close – Male offender has kicked main entrance door to flats, causing the damage to the wood and metal on the door and the lock to break.
  • Imperial Mews – Offender has approached front door and caused damage to lower timber panel, smashing single pane of glass in upper part of door.
  • Central area – 
  • Priestfield Road – Brick thrown at front downstairs window causing outer pane to shatter.
  • Grange area – 
  • Sutton Way – Broadband wires, on outside of property cut.
  • Strawberry Fields area – 
  • Randle Meadow – Fire started in woodland at rear of residential property with the heat from the flames causing damage to 3 shed panels and conifers in the rear garden.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Dudleston Road – 2 bricks thrown at large window causing the outer pane to smash.
  • Neston – 
  • Drake Road – Small pane of glass in front door damaged.
  • Bridge Court – Gas meter, within temporarily unoccupied building damaged.
  • Hinderton Road – Offender witnessed hitting fence panel with piece of piping, causing it to split.  Made off in direction of Breezehill Road.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Rochester Drive – Trailer taken from compound – no further details at this time.
  • Richmond Court – Tenant has bypassed electricity meter.
  • Coliseum Way – Wallet left unattended in Ten Pin later found in toilets with cards inside but cash taken.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Redhill Mews – Attempt theft of lead from roof of porch in rear garden.  Lead has been peeled back but still in place so possibility offenders may have been disturbed.
  • Central area – 
  • Whitby Road – Male has entered solicitors office and after placing some paperwork onto a nearby desk on top of a mobile phone, has asked for directions.  Upon leaving he has picked up the paperwork and concealed the mobile phone within it and walked out.
  • Grange area – 
  • Pooltown Road – Mens black racer style bike, left outside front of house taken.
  • Fleet Street – Offender enters front garden and removed dark blue Voodoo Bantu bike.  CCTV from neighbouring property shows the offender to be male.
  • Joan Bartlett Close – Solar lights taken from front gardens of 2 properties on close.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Peckforton Drive – 4 x garden chairs and solar wall lights taken from rear garden.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Bailey Avenue – Insecure pedal cycle taken from rear garden.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • School LaneWheel barrow and garden tools taken from rear garden.
  • Neston – 
  • High Street – Back pack, left unattended on bench outside Brown Horse PH taken.
  • Burton & Ness – 
  • Hills Close - Female border collie (micro-chipped) disappeared after been let out into rear, secure garden.
  • Parkgate –
  • Leighton Road – Unknown offender has approached a private wooded area and removed a public notice sign belonging to owner – repeat victim.
  • Neston Library, Parkgate Road – Female offender takes quantity of cd’s into toilet area and after removing security tags leaves with items.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Rossmore Road East – 2 motor homes, one displaying PO15 CSZ, the other unregistered taken from The Lakeland Motor Home Centre – No further details.
  • Neston – 
  • Brook Street Car Park – Black Suzuki GZ125, RCZ 5237, left in car park taken -  Located, completely burnt out in the brook located behind the British Legion.
  • Gladstone Road - Group of lads witnessed trying to remove Aprilia Classic motorcycle. Due to the weight of the lock they have been unable to push the bike and dropped it causing damage.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Central area – 
  • Highfield Road North – Set of ladders taken from roof of Ford Transit van – Ladders located after resident reported having found them in alleyway on Princes Road.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Links Avenue – Ford Transit, parked secure on a residential driveway, entered by unknown means and quantity of Makita power tools taken.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • Heath Lane – Iveco Box Van entered by unknown means and cash taken from a money bag. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Warwick Court – Vehicle, no further details, has windscreen damaged by unknown means.
  • Central area – 
  • Victoria Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked on residential road is scratched along the passenger door and has a dollar sign scratched into the bonnet by unknown implement.
  • Westminster Road – Offender, having been ejected from bus for being drunk and unruly throws a beer bottle at the bus driver and punches both wing mirrors causing them to smash – male arrested.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Whitby Park – 2 vehicles, parked in parking area of Whitby Hall damaged by being scratched along body work.  One is a Ford Fiesta, the other a Peugeot 106.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Overpool Road – Ford Focus has rear windscreen smashed by unknown means.
  • Neston – 
  • Raby Road – Ford Fiesta, parked in residential street is scratched along the near side.  Offender reported to have been female.
