 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • South Road – Bottom panel of door to office within business premises smashed to gain entry.  Petty cash tin containing large amount of vouchers, cash and camera taken.
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Unsuccessful attempt to enter catering trailer by cropping locks so the catering hatch has been forced open.  Till removed and forced open and small quantity of cash taken from within.
  • Central area – 
  • Market Hall – Offender has entered stall and removed an unattended Samsung Note mobile phone from next to till.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Caernarvon Court – 2 bricks thrown at house smashing window.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Percival Way – Brick thrown through living room window causing it to be damaged on 2 separate occasions this week.
  • Naylor Road – Damage has been caused to the hinges, locks and panels on the wooden communal door.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Chester Road – Offender has entered male toilets in Morrisons and set fire to toilet roll holder causing damage to it and the connecting wall.
  • Grange area – 
  • Woodchurch Lane –  A piece of wood was placed between the metal boarding up plates on the remaining building on the old school set and set alight.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Seacombe Drive – Group of youths in field kicking at fence to residential property which has caused damage to the fence.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Plemston Court – Super glue put into door lock.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • Hooton Road – Combination lock on gate to pond area super glued.
  • Neston – 
  • Stanney Fields – Gang of youths have sawn through a number of trees and a bench on the park, which has then been set alight.
  • Shakespeare Road – 4 windows at property smashed by unknown means.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Cheshire Oaks – Handbag left unattended in play area opposite M&S has purse taken from within.  Purse later recovered, minus cash and handed into site staff.
  • Central area – 
  • Whitby Road – Merida 20 mountain bike in red and white taken by prospective customer from Big Bills Bikes.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Whitby Park – Whilst playing on skate park IPhone 5C has fallen from coat pocket.  On returning phone had been picked up and taken.
  • Stanney Lane – Locker left open whilst user taking a shower.  Pair of shorts with house keys, car keys, mobile phone and wallet containing cash taken.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Ledsham Road – Large decorative metal anvil taken from under window at the front of the property.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
  • Central area – 
  • Mercer Walk – Rear registration plate taken from motability scooter whilst unattended outside ‘The Works’ in the Port Arcade. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Sutton area –  
  • Greasby Drive – Renault Grand Scenic, parked on residential driveway is keyed along the length of the passenger side.
  • Parkgate – 
  • George Drive – Toyota parked on residential road has both tyres on drivers side slashed.  Previous day a note had been found on the vehicle stating the vehicle should not be parked  there and not to park there again.
