21 to 30 June 2015
 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Thornton Road – Upper floor rear window forced open into part of new build extension.  Unknown if entry has been gained as nothing has been taken.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Monks Grove - Handle to rear patio forced.  No entry believed gained, nothing reported taken.
  • Central area – 
  • Newnham Drive – Entry gained by forcing rear door.  Quantity of jewellery and cash taken.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Wyncroft Close - Entry gained to property via living room window.  Search made of living room and kitchen and car keys removed.  Cash taken from a wallet and purse.  Upon leaving the property the offender/s have moved an Audi A6, parked on the road but blocking in a Mini Cooper which has been parked in the drive and parked it outside a neighbouring property, driving off in the Mini Cooper, DG59 ZKE – vehicle recovered in Merseyside.
  • Dale Gardens - Entry gained via the back door leaving no sign of forced entry. Cash taken from the kitchen and a small bag of pumice has been moved but not taken, home owner believes offender/s may have initially though it was drugs.
  • Grange area – 
  • The Crescent – UPVC door handle forced to gain entry.  Handbag taken from kitchen area and car keys to an Audi and Fiesta taken from hallway. The Audi has been left insitu due being blocked in by another vehicle but a Ford Fiesta CY11 BYO has been taken.
  • Eccleston Avenue - A shovel has been used to smash rear living room window.  Bedroom entered and cash taken.
  • Strawberry Fields area – 
  • Larchdale Close – A male called at premises stating that neighbours and the local council had complained about a tree in the rear garden which he had been sent to cut down. Whilst the resident is distracted in the garden another person has entered the house and stolen cash.                
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Strawberry Fields area – 
  • Larchdale Close - Tool similar to chisel used to gain entry to both shed and garage.  Untidy search and items thrown on floor. Apollo pedal cycle stolen.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Margarets Lane - Forks, broom and a wheelbarrow taken from unlocked stables.
  • Little Neston – 
  • Mellock Lane – Attempt burglary where 4 panels of wood panelling covering exterior surgery wall of Newton Surgery extension removed. Panels left behind. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Strawberry Fields area – 
  • Larchdale Close – 3 separate incidents reported within time frame of news bulletin.  In the 1st incident a tool similar to chisel has been used to gain entry to both shed and garage.  Untidy search made and items thrown on floor. Apollo pedal cycle stolen.  In the 2nd incident a large flat screen TV that had been left previously has been taken on the following night. In the 3rd incident an offender is disturbed trying the handle on the garage and going into the boot of a vehicle.  Nothing believed to be taken at this time.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Summertrees Road – Garage door opened causing alarm to sound.  Nothing taken.
  • Sutton Green/Manor area – 
  • Spunhill Avenue – Spade and garden shears used to force garage door.  3 bikes taken from within.  1 was found in a small wooded area with damage to the ignition. 2 other childrens motocross bikes are still outstanding.  Both are orange and white KTM’s, one 85cc, the other a 250cc.  Also taken were 2 Airoh motorcycle helmets, 1 in black with monster badges on, the other with a white and red union Jack on and the word  ‘JONES’ on the side.
  • Rivacre area – 
  • Oliver Lane - Large wooden shed in rear garden has panels removed to gain entry.  Small female childs purple bike and small childs blue trike taken. 
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Welsh Chapel House – Ground floor bedroom window smashed.
  • King Street – Brick thrown at window causing outer pane to smash – male arrested.
  • Wharf Lane – Paint thrown onto side walls of property and into garden area.
  • Naylor Road – Door smashed open.  No entry gained.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Whitby Park – Whitby Hall has substantial damage caused to a rear door and frame.  No entry gained.
  • Park Drive – Outer pane of window smashed by unknown means.
  • Grange area – 
  • Cannon Street – Top opening section of window smashed by unknown means.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Overpool Road – Cash machine screen smashed with palm of hand when users card did not ejected.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • Hooton Road - Super glue put in lock of gate to fishing club - repeat offence.
  • Neston – 
  • Spenser Road – Kitchen window smashed by unknown means.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Coliseum Retail Park – Blue and grey Carrera Vengeance Mountain, left secure in designated cycle rack has lock removed by unknown means before bike is taken.  CCTV shows 2 male offenders, one riding the bike the other sitting on the handlebars ride off along Stanney Lane.
  • Westminster area – 
  • Church Street – Keys left in door lock removed by unknown person.
  • Naylor Road – 2 piece Rattan corner suite garden furniture and cushions taken from rear garden.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Whitby Park – Purse left unattended on park bench taken.
  • Pooltown area – 
  • Overpool Road - Grey Mazda, on trade plates 25743 obtains £10 of fuel and drives off making no attempt to pay.
  • Grange area – 
  • Regent Street – Silver Trek Mountain bike, secured by smoking area is taken.
  • Strawberry Fields area – 
  • Linden Close – Apollo Mountain bike, left insecure in rear garden taken. 
  • Sutton Green/Manor area –
  • Berry Drive – 2 separate addresses reporting incidents.  At first address 2 heavy wooden garden chairs taken from rear garden, possibly having to lift fencing to get it out of garden and at the 2nd address fence panels have been taken.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Ledsham Road – Purse taken from an unattended bag in the Travellers Rest Public House.
  • Heath Lane - Wheelbarrow and electric fencing sticks removed from field.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Bailey Avenue - 2 white male offenders in flat bed recovery truck, MP55 CJZ liveried ‘classic car restorers’ pull up at new build house.  1 male tells worker he has spoken to the site boss and said he was taking an Atlas COPCO 140 yellow compressor.  This has then been loaded onto their vehicle and they have driven off.
  • Little Neston – 
  • Stanney Fields - Samsung Galaxy A, left in unattended bag taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Cheshire Oaks – Ford Fusion, parked in car park has scratches found on offside front door.
  • Central area – 
  • West Road – 2 separate incidents reported where vehicles have been found to have been damaged.  Vauxhall Corsa is scratched along the passenger side, possibly by a key or similar and a Ford Fusion is scratched along the drivers side.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Wyncroft Close - Mini Cooper, DG59 ZKE taken after keys obtained in a burglary – vehicle recovered in Merseyside.
  • Grange area – 
  • The Crescent - Ford Fiesta, CY11 BYO taken after keys obtained in burglary.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Sutton area – 
  • Station Road – Ford Transit, left insecure on convenience store car park has sat. nav. and diary taken from within.
  • Little Neston – 
  • Romney Way - Rear number plate, displaying DE14 GBZ taken from a Blue VW Sirocco parked on road outside residential property. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Warwick Court – Vauxhall, parked on old garage area to side/rear of premises has near side rear window smashed, before igniting a plastic container, holding petrol and throwing it onto the rear seat.
  • Jubilee Green – Audi Q3 has rear window smashed by unknown means.
  • Central area – 
  • Civic Way – Volvo, parked on car park has head light smashed.
  • Grange area – 
  • Pooltown Road – Ford Focus, parked on driveway has windscreen smashed and denting caused to body work.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Sutton Way - Single decker stagecoach bus has unknown object thrown at it causing the side window to smash.
  • Ledsham area – 
  • Chester Road – BMW 730, parked on residential driveway has rear windscreen smashed with house brick.
  • Green Lane - Honda CR-V Vtec Sport, parked on residential driveway has brick thrown through windscreen. 
  • Parkgate –
  • The Parade – Jaguar, parked on street is scratched along length of passenger side.
