 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Whitby area –  
  • Deeside – Attempt burglary via an insecure front window. No entry gained.
  • Beechcroft Drive – Offender/s has reached through the top open part of the window in order to open larger window to gain entry.  Nothing believed taken.                
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Bridges Road – Offender/s have forced entry into substation and a fire has ignited on a large transformer, potentially due to an attempt to take metal. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Seymour Drive – Sliding lock damaged on shed door in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Willaston & Thornton – 
  • Oakfield Terrace – Stable entered and fly mask taken off horse.  Mask and rope then taken.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Milton Road – Outer Pane of front window smashed.
  • South Pier Road ­– Ceramic plant pot thrown at window of old terraced cottage situated inside the boat museum causing damage.   
  • Whitby area –
  • Park Drive – Outer pane of glass in living room window smashed.
  • Grange area – 
  • Seacombe Park – Youths reported ripping up the newly laid ground work on the park.
  • Festival Road – Front door kicked causing damage to lock.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Old Quay Lane – 1 hay bale set a light by local youths and another rolled into a nearby pond.
Theft
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Chirk Gardens – Wallet, dropped whilst caller in process of cleaning car taken.
  • Central area – 
  • Civic Way – Purse and mobile phone, whilst left unattended in changing room at Civic Hall.
  • Whitby area –  
  • Chester Road – White Movano Van, C42 PET obtained £80 of diesel and drove off making no attempt to pay.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Overpool Road – Male offender has reached over the bar and taken a handbag, belonging to a staff member from the ‘Sir Robert’ public house.
  • Parkgate – 
  • Station Road – Wallet left unattended in Neston Cricket Club changing room taken.
  • Woodlands Road – 2 metal bed frames, left in front garden whilst house being decorated taken.
Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
  • Stanlow/Wolverham area – 
  • Cheshire Oaks Car Park – Toyota Rav has front registration plate, displaying HR04 LEW taken.
  • South Road – Registration plate, displaying DA04 DVX taken from a trailer parked on a residential drive way.
  • Sutton area –  
  • Kendal Drive – Ford Focus has front registration plate, displaying FN13 VVF taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Westminster area – 
  • Abbots Mews – Fiat Florino Van has all 4 tyres slashed.
  • Grange area – 
  • Pooltown Road – Vauxhall Vectra has wing mirror kicked back causing permanent damage.
  • Rossmore area – 
  • Red Lion Lane – Peugeot 107, parked on residential driveway has wing mirror knocked off.
