You will notice that the layout of the news bulleting has altered slightly.  This is due to us now falling in line with the Councils Electoral Ward areas.

 Burglary
Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Thorne Drive – Entry gained into property by unknown means. Keys to a Mercedes C Class taken along with vehicle. – 2 males arrested and vehicle recovered.
 ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Park Drive – Insecure garage entered and charcoal grey Hoffman Scarab BMX bicycle taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Howells Avenue – Shed door jemmied to gain access.  Nothing taken.
Criminal Damage 
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Mobility scooter, left unattended outside Asda has plastic cover damaged by unknown means.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Brick thrown through rear windscreen of vehicle.  No further vehicle details.
  • Whitby Park – Number of heavy timer pieces, used for the raised flower beds in the community garden area set alight.
  • Rossmore
  • Livingstone Road – Gloss paint thrown all over the washing in rear garden.
 ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road, Little Sutton – Parts removed from air conditioning unit.  Notice left advising users not to turn it on.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Door to flat damaged by offender repeatedly banging on it.
  • Summertrees Road – Group of youths set fire on park area.  Put out by local resident.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flint Court – Merida mountain bike, secured with combination lock to a handrail outside the communal area taken.
  • Thomas Telford Public House, Whitby Road – Male approaches customer eating breakfast and asks for directions, placing a map onto the table over the top of a mobile phone.  When the male leaves the customer notices his Apple IPhone 6 has been taken.
  • Whitby
  • David Lloyds, Stanney Lane - Money taken from a wallet left inside an insecure locker within leisure centre.
  • Rossmore
  • Shell Petrol Station, Station Road – Red Vauxhall Corsa, no registration details, obtains £47.07 of fuel and leaves making no attempt to pay.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Haddon Lane – Half tonne of paving slabs removed from woodland area.
  • Parkgate
  • Neston Cricket Club, Station Road – Camera stolen from inside sports bag, left insecure in changing area.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Green – 12 tables, 34 chairs and 12 plant pots taken from the beer garden at ‘The Chimneys’ Public House.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike, hidden in bushes at golf course by owner is taken.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Rear garden entered and insecure Cannondale Trail 4 taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Thorne Drive – Entry gained into property by unknown means. Keys to a Mercedes C Class taken along with vehicle. – 2 males arrested.
 ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Village – Nissan X-Trail, YA14 JWL removed from residential driveway by unknown means.  Home owner has heard noise and noticed vehicle gone.  Having gone outside property they have witnessed offender running off – vehicle recovered.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Wetherby Way – Padlock snapped off Fort transit to gain entry.  Nothing taken.
 ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Insecure Ford Transit entered via side door and quantity of tools taken from within.  Tools taken include 2 Makita cordless drill sets and Hilti Hand held Kango drill breaker.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Manor Park Drive – Sunglasses taken from insecure Lexus. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Chirk Gardens – Rear panel of Vauxhall Corsa kicked by offender during argument with owner.
  • Rossmore
  • Grace Road – 2 vehicles damaged in separate incidents reported during the week. Vauxhall Corsa, parked on public road scratched along bodywork by unknown body work.  Peugeot 207 also scratched along the length of the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Court – Audi A3 has rear passenger tyre slashed whilst parked in the square.
  • Neston
  • Blackeys Lane – Plastic trim pulled off and vehicle kicked and scratched.  No further vehicle details at this time.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands View – Mercedes Sprinter van has front and rear tyres slashed on passenger side.
  • Mill Lane – Ford transit van, at Rivacre Business Park has stone thrown by group of youths casing marking to rear door.
