You will notice that the layout of the news bulletin has altered slightly.  This is due to us now falling in line with the Councils Electoral Ward areas.

 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Tithebarn Drive – Hook and cane used to obtain keys to Jaguar X-Type, M14 CDG which has then been taken from the driveway.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Kitchen door left unlocked whilst dog in garden.  Short while later resident notices her purse has been taken from her handbag and the side gate to the garden is open.

Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Telford Road – 3 offenders have climbed into a secure compound and forced entry into building via a door.  Alarm has sounded and males have made off. Nothing believed taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Oaktree Court, Mill Lane – Port-a-cabin entered by smashing window.  Nothing believed taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – 2 males disturbed breaking into garage.  Made off when disturbed by owner.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles: 

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Town Lane – outer pane of double glazed unit on front door cracked by unknown means.
  • Neston
  • Ringway – 2 storage boxes in rear garden damaged in attempt to gain access.
  • Shakespeare Road – Seat of mobility scooter, left in communal area slashed.
 Theft

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Carrera Vengeance mountain bike taken from outside Asda – named suspect.
  • Whitby
  • Dunkirk Lane – Insecure Carrera mountain bike left in hallway of Whitby Sports & Social Club taken.
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Workshop within Boat Museum entered and offender has stepped over low barrier and removed power tools from a work bench.
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Drill left unattended outside door of flat taken – named suspect. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Chester Road – Bailey Pageant Burgundy Series 6 caravan, secured with hitch lock taken from front driveway.
  • Tarporley Road – Boiler removed from property.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles: 

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Parkgate
  • Tithebarn Drive –Jaguar X-Type, M14 CDG which has then been taken from the driveway after keys removed from address with hook and cane.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Glencoe Road –  Honda Lead motorcycle, DG55 UPJ, parked securely in garden of residential address taken – Since recovered.
  • Grange
  • Whitby Road – Drivers window on Audi TT forced in a possible attempt to gain entry. Believes offenders may have been disturbed.  No sure if anything has been taken from within the vehicle at this time.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Telford Road Industrial Estate – Catalytic convertor removed from Peugeot Boxer Van parked outside one of business units.
  • Whitby
  • Park Drive – Untidy search made with Nissan Leaf. Cash taken from a purse left in the glove box.  No signs of forced entry.
  • Old Hall Drive – Vauxhall Corsa has front nearside window smashed and a scratch card taken from centre console.
  • Rossmore
  • Fleming Street – Vauxhall Corsa has drivers side window smashed and wallet taken from within.
  • Holiday Inn, Lower Mersey Street – Insecure Mitsubishi Colt entered and glove box searched.  Fleece taken from back seat. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Craxton Wood Hotel, Parkgate Road – Peugeot Boxer Van entered by unknown means.  Various items taken from within.
  • Burton Road – Ford Transit van, parked on roadside entered by unknown means and Bosch SDS power drill, Impact driver, Fluke multi meter and DeWalt angle grinder taken from within.
  • Parkgate RoadFord Transit Connect Van, parked securely on car park of Tudor Rose Public House entered through rear doors by unknown means.  A large quantity of power tools and electrical testing equipment is taken from within.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hadlow Wood, Hadlow Road – Vauxhall Zafira has nearside window smashed and handbag removed from the rear of the vehicle.
  • Sutton
  • Pooltown Road – Registration plates removed from Isuzu motor caravan, registration L233 LND.  Front plate found under vehicle, rear still outstanding. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marlborough Road – Honda Civic has drivers side window smashed.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
  • Colwyn Close – Brick thrown through rear window of Mazda motor vehicle and also hall window of residential property.
  • Raby Court – Wing mirrors damaged on Citreon Saxo to the extent that they are now only held in place by wiring.
  • Whitby
  • Old Hall Drive – Vauxhall Corsa parked on road has the passenger side window smashed.
  • Rossmore
  • Edward Street – Vauxhall Agila, parked at roadside has drivers offside window smashed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • The Birches – Renault Espace has tyre slashed.
  • Netherpool
  • Crossley Avenue – Volvo V70 parked outside residential address has small hole made in rear nearside window, possibly by air pellet or similar.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Citroen Berlingo and Suzuki Alto, parked at roadside have wing mirrors kicked off.  Witness reported seeing 2 males 14/17 years walking along road kicking at cars.
