You will notice that the layout of the news bulletin has altered slightly.  This is due to us now falling in line with the Councils Electoral Ward areas.

17 to 28 August 2015
 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Rear door panel of sandwich shop kicked through to gain entry.  Internal door leading in rear if shop also kicked through.  Search made within and quantity of drinks removed from chilled cabinet. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Fern Road – Entry gained into garage via insecure side door.  Tools and Yamaha TZR, L450 UMB taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Dove Close – Padlock removed from side gate to gain access to rear garden.  The screws to hinges on the shed door have been removed as has the complete shed door. Quantity of power tools taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Puddington Lane – Door to large barn removed by unknown means.  Nothing taken from within.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kennilworth Court – Stone thrown at top floor kitchen window causing glass to smash.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Window to public toilet has protective mess pulled up and glass smashed.  No entry has been gained.
  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Lounge window smashed.
  • Joseph Groom Towers – 2 males trying to kick the door of flat in – males arrested.
  • Viva Way – Unknown object thrown at ground floor kitchen window resulting in the glass being cracked. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Stanney Fields – Group of youths setting fire to bins and smashing bottles onto footpaths.
  • St. Pauls
  • Woodchurch Lane – Astro turf, on old school site set alight on a number of separate occasions within the time period of this report.  Youths have also set alight the contents of a skip currently on site.
  • Radway Green – Unknown object thrown at front window causing it to smash.
  • Ellesmere Port Golf Centre – Green number 4 damaged by motor bike, being ridden round.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Fencing to rear of Tesco Express damaged and railings ripped off.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Asda, Wellington Road – Carrera mountain bike, parked securely has lock cut off and is taken.
  • Eton Road – Trax BMX taken from rear garden after offender have reached over gate and unlocked bolt.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Carrera mountain bike, left secure to rear of shop taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Dunraven Road – Entry gained into rear garden by insecure gate.  Wooden garden bench taken.
  • Burton Nursery – Lock forced on caravan and 2 windows removed.
  • Netherpool
  • Carlton Crescent – Entry gained into rear yard via side gate. Giant Escape 4 and Pinnacle Lithium ladies bikes taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – At some time over past 3 weeks some plastic flowers and a solar light have been removed from a grave – Enquiries have shown that the vicar has received many reports of items being removed from graves which have not been formally reported.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Fern Road – Yamaha TZR, L450 UMB taken from garage entered via insecure side door – located on Underwood Drive. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – Secure Honda motorcycle, L267 KFU taken from outside location.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Honda CBR, DF14 XXP taken from outside residential address – located under bridge at Jct. 9, M53.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – 2 vehicles parked in separate car parks have registration plates removed.  Toyota Yaris has rear registration plate, displaying DC15 EZO removed and Mini 1 has front registration plate, displaying VK06 ZFY removed.
  • Rossmore
  • Alexandra Street – Male ran off having been disturbed lying underneath VW Caravelle, parked in on street parking. Believed he may have been attempting to remove a catalytic convertor as the spare wheel had been removed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Village – Mercedes A220, parked in car park of Gladstone Village Hall has front nearside window smashed with a brick and a handbag taken from within.
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road Depot – 2 Plus Dane Transit Vans have had their spare wheels removed whilst parked at addresses in Plempton Court and Stapleford Court.
  • Sutton
  • Chester Road – Vauxhall Corsa has front registration plate, displaying DA11 UJV taken – may have been taken at the same time a caravan was stolen from the address on the 9th August and was reported in the previous newsletter. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Girton Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked on road has drivers door and rear quarter panel scratched and dents made into front bumper.
  • Marlborough Road – Skoda Fabia has scratching made on nearside body work, possible with a key or similar.
  • Stanney Lane – Skoda Fabia has paving slab thrown through windscreen – named offender.
  • Whitby
  • Thamesdale – Vauxhall Adam has rear nearside light damaged by unknown means.
  • Strawberry
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – VW Transported, parked on car park of Holiday Inn has rear offside window smashed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Craxton Wood Hotel, Parkgate Road – Peugeot Boxer Van entered by unknown means.  Various items taken from within.
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – Panel van has windscreen and passenger window smashed with rocks.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Vauxhall Zafira, parked on residential street has small hole made to offside front window by unknown implement.
  • Grange
  • Norley Avenue – Rover motor vehicle has bonnet and wings damaged by offender rolling over vehicle.
  • Regent Street – Bus travelling along street past college has denting caused to bodywork from stones thrown by 3 youths.
