 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property: 
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – Small glass panel and piece of wood securing an already broken piece of glass removed to gain entry into kitchen.  Untidy search made of of bedroom and money box containing cash and a watch have been taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Queens Road – Rear garden entered and ground floor rear window jemmied open.  Tidy search of house made, unknown what property has been taken at this time.
  • Cygnet Close – Entry gained by forcing door.  Untidy search made and cash and safe box taken.
  • Sutton
  • Pooltown Road – Currently empty property has outbuilding entered and a possible attempt to get into the main house through the rear door.  Nothing taken. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • McGarva Way – Entry gained into Epic Leisure Centre by group of youths by forcing rear fire door. Items left in old building have been stacked by rear door but youths have run off when they have been disturbed by security guard leaving items behind – a number of suspects have been identified.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Attempt burglary to B&Q overnight.  Offender/s have disconnected the car park lights and made a hole into the front of the building.  Possibly disturbed as entry not been gained.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Eddisbury Road – Woodlands Infant Primary School has door external door to classroom forced open and lap top, camera and sound equipment for a deaf child taken.

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Dunmore Road – Unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into garage.
 Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheltenham Road – Damage caused to top of fencing by pointed edges, designed to prevent cats sitting upon fence snapped off – named suspect.
  • Robinson Road – Paint thrown over door of flat.
  • Durham Court – TV aerial, attached to outer wall of property damaged when wire has been cut.
  • Walkworth Court – A key has been put into lock and snapped off preventing home owner access.  The words ‘slag’ have been scratched into the door – named suspect.
  • Stanney 10 Industrial Estate – Trailer, used as confectionery stall at fetes has front hatch forced by unknown means and an untidy search made within.  Nothing believed taken.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Male caught on CCTV writing on lamp post within Park – Male identified.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Wooden front door split in the centre area by letter box.  Footprints found on door so it is assumed damage has been caused by kicking.
  • Cedar Point – Front door smashed – named suspect.
  • Lower Mersey Street – 2 youths have broken into Portside House site and gained access to a stacker truck.  This has been driven around the site causing damage to the gates. – 2 males arrested.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Shakespeare Road – Wheelie bin used smash ground floor double glazed window – named suspect.
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – Previous tenant has removed lock to front door to gain entry.
  • St. Pauls
  • Woodchurch Lane – Old school site continues to be targeted by local youths setting fires on astro turf area.
  • Valley View – External sky cable cut – offender identified and dealt with by restorative justice.
  • Oliver Lane – Small hole made into ground floor living room window by unknown implement.
  • Station Road – 2 youths have spray painted the building wall of the Old Mill apartments.
  • Grange
  • Custard thrown at the front door and eggs thrown at window.  Cable next to front door has also been cut.
  • Festival Road – Object thrown at window causing it to smash.
  • Festival Road – Rear garden entered and lower glass pane in rear door smashed.  No entry into property.
 Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – IPhone 5s, left on table within library taken.
  • Oil Sites Road – Insecure black Carrera mountain bike, white rims and white seat with yellow paint on, taken from within bike shed at Grief UK – named suspect.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Black Felt 980 mountain bike, left insecure outside convenience store taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Locker in leisure facilities broken into and cash taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Coniston Road – Rear garden entered and green plastic pump action plant sprayer taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles: 

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – Black and green, 125cc motorbike, MD15 KFX, parked on roadway removed by unknown means – Vehicle located in Birkenhead, Merseyside.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Conway Court – Entry forced into Ford Transit through already damaged side door. Quantity of tools taken from within.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Howells Avenue – VW Polo has rear windscreen smashed and Adidas Predator in bright purple taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Ellesmere Port Golf Centre – Vauxhall Vectra, parked on car park has boot forced open and satchel, containing Ipad taken.  Main body of vehicle is then entered and Tom Tom Sat. nav. and cd’s are taken from the glove box.
  • Spring Avenue – Vauxhall Vectra, possibly insecure entered.  Items strewn around inside.  Not known if anything has been taken at this time.
  • Hawthorn Road – Secure Vauxhall Astra entered by unknown means and loose change and locking wheel nuts taken.
  • Grange
  • Chester Road – Ford Transit, parked outside newsagents opposite the Red Lion PH has the rear door jemmied open and 3 x Makita impactors, several Makita chargers and 3 x Makita batteries taken from within.  CCTV shows a white Vauxhall Combo van reverse up to the back of the vehicle and 2 people get out an commit the theft.

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Beechfield Road – Toyota Corolla has denting caused to drivers door and wheel arch.  Believed to have been caused by a brick located near to the vehicle.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Ford Fiesta, parked on driveway keyed along both offside door causing deep scratching.
  • Strawberry
  • Blackthorn Avenue – Mazda 6, parked on residential street has drivers side windscreen wiper  bent back causing damage.
  • Rossmore
  • Grace Road – Lenovo ThinkPad left on doorstep taken.
 ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Seat Leon, parked on car park of Wheatsheaf Public House damaged by male who has punched window causing it to break.
  • The Court – Ford Ka has been scratched along the bonnet.
  • Woodbank Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked on roadside for four days has all windows smashed.
  • Allans Meadow – Group of youths walking along road start kicking out at cars as they pass.  Alfa Romeo is kicked causing wing mirror to smash.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Toyota Yaris, parked in car park of ‘The Boathouse’ has back window smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Overpool Road – Peugeot E7 has chemical thrown over bonnet causing damage to paintwork.
  • Glenwood Road – 3 separate vehicles, from different addresses have had damage caused to their panels by deep scratches, possibly made from a key.
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Mini one, parked on roadside has convertible roof cut through, damage caused to the window and the passenger side of the vehicle burnt by unknown means.
