 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
 
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Downstairs window forced to gain entry.  Cupboard doors opened but nothing believed taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Badger Bait – Unknown offender/s enters property by unknown means and make untidy search.  Nothing believed taken.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Male witnessed trying to force entry to flat – Male arrested. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Dunkirk Lane – Offenders have approached Whitby Sports and Social building and angled security lighting to minimise their effect, using a bench climbed onto the roof where they have made a hole in the roof with an unknown item.  For an unknown reason they have not completed their entry and left the area after spending an hour at the scene. – Suspects have been identified.
  • Chester Road – 3 males witnessed exiting a unit on the site of ‘The Groves’ social club.  Upon checking the unit a large hole was found to have been made into the rear allowing access.  Checks to the rest of the site revealed some doors to external changing rooms had been forced open but nothing obvious had been taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Locked gates to car park of Ness Gardens forced by unknown means. Door to visitor centre forced open and tills attacked, removing cash. Police attend and security to re-secure premises.  Offender/s return later during evening and enter via same entry point then focing entry into locked office area and carry out an untidy search and then steal quantity of cash from safe.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Attempt made to enter one of shops via the rear access.  Set of shutters forced open but offenders have been unable to gain access through the inner steel door.
  • Sutton
  • Chester Road – Sometime over last 2 months access has been gained by unknown means into school premises and a Dell laptop and folding scaffold have been taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Padlock removed from wooden garage doors to gain entry. White Suzuki DR350 motorcycle, W177 RTC, which is currently under repair, along with spare parts and a Makita battery drill in fabric case with 2 batteries taken.
Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Thornton Road – Childrens playground equipment set alight.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Intoxicated male removed from The Woodland Public house causes damage to the door by kicking.
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – Glass panel smashed on green house on community allotment. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Black Lion Lane – Outer pane of double glazed window smashed by unknown means/offender.
  • Wetherby Way – Cat discovered to have been shot by air rifle.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Unknown offenders have taken 6 steel A frames, totalling £3,500, which had been stored for collection on the coach park area of Cheshire Oaks.
  • Coliseum Way – Gaming machine at Megabowl has substantial damage caused by an unknown implement and quantity of cash taken.
  • Milton Road – Rear garden entered and BMX bike taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Slant mountain bike, secured to rear of Café Rouge taken by unknown offender.
  • Whitby
  • Woodland Road – Insecure push bike taken from outside shop – bike located and offender arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • Wellswood Road – Rear garden entered via insecure gate and box of kitchen wall tiles taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Security fencing, around recently demolished site removed by unknown offender/s.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Raleigh mountain bike, in black and red with blue rear mud guard left insecure by fencing outside Martins newsagents taken by male offender involved in theft from local shop.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney lane – Insecure Lexmoto Tornado 125 in Orange and white, left outside porch of property taken by unknown offender – recovered short distance away. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive - White Suzuki DR350 motorcycle, W177 RTC, which is currently under repair taken after garage broken into.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Repton Road – Secure Ford Transit entered by unkown means and quantity of tools taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Eddisbury Road – Insecure VW Golf has sat. nav., IPod and cash taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Vehicle damaged by youths fighting – Named suspects.
  • Neston
  • Sidney Road – Citroen C5 has damage caused to bonnet when pupils from Neston High School have had a fight and climbed onto the vehicle.
  • Breezehill Road – Nissan Micra has windscreen damaged.  Youths also witnessed trying to damage for sale sign.
  • Sytchcroft – Vauxhall Corsa has front passenger side tyre slashed.
  • New Heyes – 2 vehicles, Vauxhall Corsa and Peugeot damaged by 2 males fighting in the street.  No further detail sat this time.
  • Bridge Court – Audi A4 has windscreen and wing mirror damage by unknown offender/s.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Gleneagles Road – Vauxhall Agila, parked on residential driveway has rear windscreen smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Mercedes Sprinter van, being driven along road has unknown object thrown at nearside window causing it to smash.
  • Sutton
  • Talbot Road – 2 Vauxhall Astra’s, parked on residential driveway have scratches and denting to the body work from bricks being thrown at them.
