 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • Shallacres – Male enters occupied property via insecure patio door.  Upon entering lounge area demands money from home owner but is verbally challenged and runs off.
  • Seymour Drive – Offender has smashed window to rear ground floor to gain entry.  Handbag, containing cash and cards taken.
  • Sutton
  • Singleton Road – Entry gained to property via insecure rear kitchen door.  Electrical items moved around and untidy search made but nothing believed taken. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Green Lane – Padlock removed from security gate to ‘Kingdom Hall’. Front doors to building forced to gain entry and alarm has then activated.  Nothing believed to have been taken. 
  • South Pier Road – Boat Museum is entered by offender/s smashing window pane of café.  They have then smashed through internal doors to enter office area where a safe has been attacked.  Large quantity of cash has been taken and vast amount of damage to building in general.
  • Rossmore
  • Cedab Road – Offenders have entered the industrial estate and approached a secure unit where they have made an unsuccessful attempt to force entry through the fire exit.  A small window has then been forced enabling entry into the public counter where the metal counter bars have been cut to allow access to office area. Items have been placed into carrier bags which have been left at the scene, possibly due to the offenders having been disturbed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – 3 youths, having broken glass with a stone in the rear window of the TU restaurant made an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Offenders climb into rear yard of conservatory sales premises where they have smashed a window and made an untidy search of the premises.  Contents of till and hard drive of CCTV taken.  Offenders made off from area in black Vauxhall Astra.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Community Garden has suffered extensive damage.  Fencing has been pulled down, plants pulled up, 4 x bags of compost emptied out all over the surrounding area. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Mayfield Gardens – Outer pane of double glazed unit smashed by unknown means.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Starbeck Drive – Unknown item thrown at side window of residential property causing it to crack.
  • Netherpool
  • Bailey Avenue – Fence set alight which has spread to garden shed.
 Theft

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – Iphone 6 taken from pocket of jacket hanging on a chair at the Saffron House.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney lane – Wallet left unattended on a bench inside the changing rooms at the Sports Village taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Telfords Quay – Pivot mountain bike, secured by chain outside block of flats has lock cut and is taken.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – rear passenger window of Nissan Elgrande smashed.  Not known if anything taken at this time.
  • Arundel Court – Audi A6 (taxi) has offside drivers window smashed.  Vehicle entered and coin holder taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mill Lane – Offender/s have removed lock from security gate to compound to gain entry.  The fork attachment has then been removed from a JCB lift truck and taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road East – Vauxhall Astra van has front offside door window smashed and wallet taken from within.  Disturbed by owner and ran off towards motorway.
  • Hillside Drive – Hyundai has rear passenger window smashed and a bag taken from the rear seat.
  • St. Pauls
  • Deerwood Crescent – Audi A3 has front passenger seat smashed – looks like an unsuccessful attempt the force the door had been made.  Sat. Nav. and loose change taken from within.  
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Richmond Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in rear parking area has all four tyres slashed with an unknown implement.
  • Whitby
  • Guernsey Drive – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential driveway has bricks thrown at it causing damage to the rear window and offside rear panels.
  • Rossmore
  • Grafton Road – Windscreen, back window and offside window smashed on Daihatsu Teriosesta. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Vauxhall Movano, parked on car park of Craxton Wood Hotel has rear doors forced and spare tyre removed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Kia Sedona, parked on public road has paintwork scratched with an unknown implement on the offside door.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Peugeot 205 has rear window smashed with a brick whilst parked on residential car park.  Rear offside light also smashed.
  • Faraday Road – Nissan Qashquai has front offside window smashed.
