 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Raby Court – Entry gained by unknown means via rear living room window.  Search of whole house and electrical items, including Xbox's and I Pads and jewellery taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Unknown offender has forced open front door of property by kicking causing damage to locks.  Nothing believed taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Offender has gained entry into a storage area via the flat roof and an upstairs window at the Woodlands Hotel. Box of fireworks removed from within which were later located on the flat roof.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheltenham Road – Phone line cut.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Brick building, next to building within community garden area that was recently burnt down, has wooden boarding knocked in, allowing access and metal framing within knocked over. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Station Road – Young male has bike taken off him by group of youths at Park.  Bike is then thrown around causing extensive damage – named suspects.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Hookstone Drive – Brick thrown at upper floor window causing it to crack.  It has then hit ground floor window which has smashed.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier – Unknown offender has cut through fencing around the outside storage of gas bottles.  20 bottles of 13 kilo, propane gas taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Outside storage freezer at ‘The Inn’ is entered by forcing the door and quantity of meat taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – 2 males disturbed lifting up tiles and ladders at a property currently under renovation.  Males ran off empty handed when confronted.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Barracuda mountain bike in blue/purple left in communal hallway of flats taken.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Nissan, parked on driveway has sun roof smashed by metal coil object which was found next to the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Ringway – Skyjet 125cc dirt bike – MX57 MWD, taken from outside address by unknown offender who is then witnessed riding around the local park area – located on skate park having been burnt out.
  • Ringway – Honda 125cc, DK63 UXF, parked on pathway outside house taken – later recovered in Grasswood Road, Arrowe Park, Merseyside.
  • Ringway – Piaggio, DK57 FSO, parked in front garden of property taken – found 100 yards away.
  • Jonson Road – Hyosung 125cc motorcycle, Y937 PFM, parked outside residential property taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Gateacre Court – VW Golf V6, X393 UBW reported by local resident having a broken offside rear window.  Vehicle had been stolen from the Merseyside area.
  • St. Pauls
  • Overpool Road – Sinnis Apache (Qingqi QM 125cc GY-2B) motorcycle, BX12 AEP, parked at roadside outside residential house taken by unknown offender.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Sutton
  • Eddisbury Road – Insecure VW Golf has sat. nav., IPod and cash taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road - 2 males returning from Liverpool in a Hackney taxi refuse to pay fair and when they have got out of the vehicle they punch and kick at rear off side window causing it to smash and off side wing mirror causing damage before running off.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Stone thrown at occupied mini bus parked on the car park causing window to smash.
  • Rossmore
  • Dock Street – Fiat Punto, parked in car park area of Horse and Jockey has rear windscreen smashed by unknown means. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – Hyundai IX35, parking in car park of Travellers Rest has rear window smashed after a fight in the car park – offender arrested.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Change Lane – Alfa Romeo, parked on residential driveway set a light causing the vehicle to be completely burnt out.  Silver Audi and Honda also have damage caused due to heat from fire.
