 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Wooden door surround found damaged and door handle hanging off residential flat at retail premises.  Believed to be an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Welshampton Close – Offenders climb over gate into rear garden. Unsuccessful attempt made to force entry rear patio door.  Entry gained via utility door after smashing glass pane and opening with key left in lock.  Untidy search made within property. 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Offender/s have entered communal yard at rear of flats and made and unsuccessful attempt to force rear ground floor window flat. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Station Road – Detached garage has wiring to security light cut and rear door forced to gain entry.  3 bikes (no further details) which had been locked together taken.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ewloe Court – Trailer set alight in rear area of flats.
  • Woodfield Road – Industrial bin set alight. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Church Lane – Derelict property has considerable damage caused by the smashing of several windows and a small fire being lit in an upstairs cupboard.
  • Neston
  • The Royal Arcade, Chester Road – Brick thrown through window of hair salon – male arrested, linked to theft from motor vehicles on Brook Street car park.
  • St. Pauls
  • Briardale Road – Anti cat plastic fence topper strips pulled off.
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Window smashed – named suspect.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane - Boardman Pro mountain bike removed from room within TA Centre. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hadlow Road – 2 box hedge plants in plastic planters taken from the front of the house.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Padlock forced on rear gate to gain entry in garden.  Dronz bike in white with word ‘Dronz’ on cross bar in green taken.
  • Stamford Street – Merida 120 mountain bike, locked in rear garden after gate padlocks all cut to gain entry.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Drivers window smashed but no entry gained. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – Citroen Dispatch and Ford Transit, parked in public car park have windows smashed to gain entry and property taken from within – Incident witnessed by local authority CCTV operator and 2 males arrested.
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road – Toyota Hi Lux, parked in car park of Vauxhalls Sports & Social Club, has passenger window smashed and laptop taken from within.
  • Sutton
  • Eddisbury Road – Insecure VW Golf has sat. nav., IPod and cash taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles: 
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Ford Kuga has offside rear tyre damage by unknown means.
