 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Strawberry
  • Randle Meadow – After knocking on door to residential property and getting no answer offenders have climbed over a side fence into the rear garden where they have thrown a large object through the patio doors activating alarm.  Offenders have then run off. – Named suspect.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Unknown implement used to smash glass panel in rear kitchen door which is then opened using a key left in the lock.  Tidy search made but unknown if anything has been taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Walk – One of shops has been entered via an insecure rear door and quantity of cash removed from a box left on the side. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Elm Grove – Insecure garage entered and bike taken from within – no further details at this time.
  • Strawberry
  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Sometime within the last few days the garage doors have been removed and taken. Not sure if anything has been taken from within at this time. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Talbot Avenue – Shed door jemmied open and petrol lawn mower and fishing tackle taken.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road School – Classroom window shattered by small stone or pellet.
  • Victoria Road – Back gate ripped off wall and brick thrown through rear window – Named suspect.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Firework smashed through window ground floor window of flat.
  • Pervical Road – Outer pane of downstairs window smashed by unknown object. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Stone thrown by youths at window causing outer pane of glass to smash. 
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – Damage caused to main communal door of Mostyn View.
  • Bushell Road – Unknown object thrown at property breaking glass in the door.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Askrigg Avenue – Double glazed porch door pulled off hinges causing damage to bottom rail by unknown offender.
  • Sutton
  • Greasby Drive – Fence panel taken and damage caused to remaining fencing by youths for bonfire.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – Merida mountain bike, secured in cycle rack outside library has lock removed by unknown and is taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Flatt Lane – Insecure Black and red Trax TFS.1 mountain bike taken from side of residential property.
  • Regent Street – On 2 separate days bikes have been taken from a cycle rack at West Cheshire College. The 1st being a Carrera Vengeance mountain bike. The 2nd make not known at this time.  Both bikes had their locks removed by unknown means and is taken. – Suspect named in 2nd incident.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Milton Road – Ford Kuga, DK11 UFL taken from residential driveway by unknown means.
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Suzuki V-Strom, PL05 PKA found abandoned, having been stolen from an address in Chester.
  • Rossmore
  • Livingstone Road – Owner woken by neighbour who reported a group of youths has taken his Honda CBX 125, CF11 LHA from outside the house. – Recovered from Birkenhead Park, Merseyside. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Green – 4 unknown youths have approached a Yamaha NXC DU08 OYC which was out of view behind a car.  The motorcycle has been pushed towards the gateway before offenders were disturbed and ran off in the direction of The High Road.
  • Neston
  • Gladstone Road – Aprilia Classic, J22 DOE, which had been parked on residential road taken – Recovered in Drake Road with damage to the ignition barrel and damage to vehicle in general.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Honda CBF 125cc, KU59 YCE, locked and secured by a chain to ground reinforced security look taken after chain removed by unknown means, parked outside ground floor flat window taken. – Recovered in Fox Street, Birkenhead.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Iveco Daily Van, parked secure on the car park of the Hooton Hotel has the padlock removed from the shutters, behind the cab to gain entry into the rear of the vehicle.  2 Sthil 017 petrol chain saws, 3 Sthil 026 petrol chain saws and 1 Sthil petrol hedge cutter taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Abbey Court – Peugeot 206 has rear nearside lights kicked, causing damage by group of passing youths who had been verbally abusive to residents. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – MG convertible has yellow sticky substance thrown over roof of vehicle.
  • St. Pauls
  • Wilmslow Drive – 2 police vehicles damaged by fireworks thrown by local youths.
  • Woodchurch Lane – Locked and secure JCB plant lifting vehicle, currently on the old school site, has the nearside and rear cab windows smashed to gain entry into the vehicle. They have then used a key in an attempt to turn the ignition, dashboard and exterior lights on in an attempt to start the vehicle before making off on police attendance.
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – On 2 separate occasions the same Ford Fiestas have been targeted for damage.  In the 1st a green unknown substance was poured over the Fiestas at residential address which has caused damage to paintwork and homophobic note also left on one of the vehicles. In the 2nd one of the vehicles has had damage caused to the rear light and registration plate.
  • Princes Road – Unknown offender punches window on taxi cab, at Madison’s Café causing glass to break.
Other incidents of note 
  • Dudleston Road – In the early hours of 11/11/15 an unknown male offender has climbed drainpipe to the rear of a residential address and been watching the female occupant change.  The occupant has screamed and the male has grinned and stayed in place for a short while before dropping down out of view.
  • Sutton Way – Male barricades himself in his top floor flat and starts a fire in the hallway and living room causing extensive damage to the property.  – Male arrested.
