 Burglary
Incidents reported relating to residential property: 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Ex tenant has forced the drawer on electricity meter and taken cash.  Damage has also been caused to another meter which provides electric to the shower. – Named suspect. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises: 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby RoadEntry gained via external stairs and fire exit into dance studio which has also enable entry into the temporarily unused café below.  A number of items have been moved but nothing believed taken at this time.
  • New Bridge Road – Top glass section of unit door smashed and a crowbar used to force entry.  Office area entered and search made within and property taken.  Offenders have left behind a bag containing a head torch and hat and crowbar. – Male arrested.
  • Rossmore
  • Garth Road – 2 port-a-cabins targeted with steel shutter being forced by unknown means and the glass window smashed to gain entry to the office space. Untidy search made but nothing appears to have been taken. – Male arrested.
  • Rosscliffe Road – Access gained to secure unit by unknown means.  Untidy search made and keys to Ford Transit, YD57 SNY taken along with vehicle. – Vehicle recovered at Conway Court. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Clayhill Industrial Estate – 3 separate units targeted on Industrial Estate.
Brookdale Road - Entry forced into locked and secure rear door of business unit by unknown means. Alarm sensor smashed off wall and untidy search made of desk and drawers.  Apple IMac in bag and quantity of cash taken. In the 2nd premises an attempt has been made to force a slide bolt secured with a padlock activating the alarm before offender/s have made off.
Coalbrooke Road – Door frame to unit attacked breaking lock and hinges.  Stihl saw then used to cut through security cage and access main unit. Tidy search of premises made including unlocking a Transit van.  Nothing believed taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Coombe Park – Integral garage entered via roof after removing roof tiles. Once inside internal bolts unlocked to open main door.  A hacksaw, from the garage is then used to cut through hand brake cable to enable a VW Transported Van to be pushed out onto driveway to enable offender/s to remove 3 off road bikes and 4 mountain bikes. Off road bikes are a Honda CRF 11 childrens bike in red and white, Yamaha PW50 childrens bike in blue and white and a KTM 450 ECX, CY15 LBV in orange. A CUBE adult mountain bike in black and green, Giant Glory adult mountain bike in black and yellow, Kona Stinky childrens bike in green and a Trek EX childrens bike in blue and white.
  • Chester Road – Rear of commercial premises has an unsuccessful attempt to jemmy the fire door causing damage.
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – Infant school entered by offender/s smashing the bottom panel out of aluminium door.  Classroom entered and Dell laptop taken from with.  Offender/s have then left via point of entry before climbing onto flat roof and forcing open window to gain access to another classroom where they have taken another Dell laptop, I Pad mini and Epson projector which has been ripped down from a ceiling mount. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden: 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mill Lane – One of out buildings on business site broken into.  Offender/s have forced entry and smashed the internal alarm box before forcing entry into inner compartment.  Alarm has sounded and offender/s have made off.  Nothing believed taken. 
  • Parkgate
  • The Leightons – Door lock forced on caravan.  Untidy search made and wheel brace taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Hillcrest Drive – Rear garden entered and padlock cut off shed door to gain entry. Items moved about but nothing appears to have been taken.
  • Starbeck Drive – Entry gained into detached garage via roof. Orange 5 full suspension bike in orange and Marin full suspension bike in white taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester High Road – Shed on Leahurst premises has locked forced.  Nothing believed taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Padlock removed from garage. 4 bikes, Barracuda mountain bike, GT Chucker mountain bike and 2 BMX’s, trailer and assorted fishing equipment taken.
  • Links Avenue – Corrugated sheet ripped off garage roof.  Offenders disturbed and ran off.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • New Port Business Park, New Port Road – Brick thrown at 2 front double glazed windows of unit, causing them both to smash.
  • Stafford Gardens – Male pulled down fence causing irreparable damage. – Male arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Court – CCTV camera lens sprayed with paint.
  • St. Pauls
  • Eccleston Avenue – Damage caused to back door by unknown means.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Rear of shop premises approached and access gained to to upstairs flat above the premises.  Large green calor gas canister thrown through the rear living room room.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Windows of bus stop smashed.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Edinburgh Court3 unknown males approached male pushing his scooter towards communal area and demanded keys.  They have assaulted the male in unsuccessful attempt to get the keys before making running off. – Males described as late teens and around 5’11 tall.
  • Doune Court – Rucksack placed on pavement next to car before owner drives off accidentally leaving it on pavement.  Bag gone on return.
  • Coronation Road – Whilst at children’s play centre an IPhone 5 has been removed from an unattended bag.
  • St. Andrews Road – Black CBoardman mountain bike with white front forks taken after being left insecure against front window of residential property.
  • Civic Way – Samsung Galaxy mobile phone taken from coat pocket as owner has been walking along road.
  • Oldfield Road – Electricity meter bypassed – Named suspects.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Parade – Reebok mountain bike taken by named suspect using community centre. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Raleigh Diamond Back mountain bike in green left insecure in alley at side of residential property taken.
  • Whitby Road – Merida mountain bike in blue removed having been secured to metal fencing at University Church of England Academy.  – CCTV shows a male, dressed in black with a red baseball cap removing the padlock with bolt cutters before taking the bike.
 Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Robinson Road – Vauxhall Corsa, SG07 HXH taken from courtyard area of St. Catherines House. – Vehicle recovered after being sighted by police. Named suspects.
  • Rossmore
  • Rosscliffe Road – Transit Van, YD57 SNY taken after keys taken in burglary at the premises – Vehicle recovered at Conway Court. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Lexmoto scooter, WF13 UGU found in bushes with damage to front. – Had been stolen from address on Romney Way.
  • Neston
  • Westlands Close – Honda CBS, EA60 NNT taken from outside address by unknown means.
  • Ringway – Honda CBF, parked in front garden of property has handle bars bent upwards in what is believed to have been an unsuccessful attempt to snap steering lock of to take bike.
  • Netherpool
  • Crossley Avenue – Renault Megan, LY09 GRX, stolen from Prenton, Merseyside, displaying false registration plate SK09 VDF sighted travelling in convoy with off road bike. Vehicles make off from patrols and driver of vehicle runs off through gardens.  Vehicle found to contain numerous bikes possibly taken in recent thefts. – Named suspects
  • St. Pauls
  • Coombe Park - 3 off road, Honda CRF 11 childrens bike in red and white, Yamaha PW50 childrens bike in blue and white and a KTM 450 ECX, CY15 LBV in orange taken after garage broken into.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Croft Court – Vauxhall Corsa has window smashed and damage caused to tope of both doors.  Entry believed gained as glove box was found open but nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Dover Drive – Ford Mondeo has rear registration plate, SC09 DZK and taxi plate 2499 taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Secure Ford Transit, parked on car park of Premier Travel Inn entered via the rear doors, although no sign of having been forced.  2 boxes containing assorted hand tools removed from within. – One box found in nearby hedge and cctv shows what appears to be a male approaching vehicles and using an electronic key?
  • Parkgate Road – VW Caddy on foreign plates, parked on car park to Craxton Wood Hotel has 3 windows forced open to gain entry.  Various items including shoes and bedding taken.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Unsuccessful attempt made to force the mountain top cover on Nissan Navara.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles: 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Mercedes C220 parked in retail car park is scratched with an unknown implement to paint work on the both front wings and doors.
  • Exeter Road – Toyota Corolla, parked on residential road is scratched on vehicle panels with an unknown implement. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Stanney Close – Ford Mondeo found to have had nails put into front tyres.
  • Neston
  • Mayfield Gardens – Citroen found to have damage to the front bonnet by scratches and dints.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Police vehicle, being driven along road has brick thrown at it by group of youths hiding in bushes causing damage to nearside bonnet and wing.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm – Volvo V40, parked in communal compound gas windscreen and 2 nearside windows smashed.
  • Grange
  • Cavell Drive – Vauxhall Insignia has white paint thrown over car and the words ‘SLAG’ and ‘BITCH’ painted onto the front and back. – Believed may have been targeted in error.
