 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  •  Whitby
  • Ribblesdale – Rear window jemmied open to gain entry to premises.  Search made within and radio taken.
  • Eskdale – Unknown implement used to force open front living room window. Tidy search made within but nothing taken.
  • Cumbrae Drive – Rear door forced to gain entry.  Untidy search made within and jewellery taken.  Suspicious vehicle, black Audi A3 seen in area by local resident which is believed to have been involved in the offence – vehicle was located in Manchester displaying false registration plates having been involved in an RTC. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • The Looms – Rear of property accessed and rock used to smash window to gain entry.  Untidy search made of bedroom and jewellery taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Kings Road – Resident returning home disturbs offenders who make off across old demolished club site.  Entry gained by smashing the glass in the lower part of the kitchen door.  Nothing believed taken.  Neighbouring property has also had an unsuccessful attempt made to gain entry using the same method.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – Rear back door panel kicked through to gain entry.  Fire taken. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dover Drive – Main gates forced by offender/s to gain entry into Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre.  Once inside 5 business premises have had their front doors forced open to gain entry where untidy searches have been made. Offender/s have left in a Vauxhall Astra Van stolen from one of the units and a Vauxhall Combo van broken into but not known if anything has been taken from it at this time. – Male arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Station Works, Hooton Road – Entry gained by forcing front steel doors to business premises. Intruder and fire alarms then damaged before door to workshop forced open.  Extensive damage made to locked cupboards and an untidy search made within.  Not known if anything has been taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Newnham Drive – Rear garden entered and locks forced to 2 garden shed. No further details of any property taken.
  • Whitby
  • Deeside – Using a spade from neighbouring garden offender/s have unsuccessfully attempted to force entry into side window of garage. They have then climbed onto the roof and removed tiles but no entry gained.
  • Fern Road – Unsuccessful attempt to enter garage by removing defender lock. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Romney Way – Entry gained in to rear garden by unknown means.  Padlock forced off shed and large quantity of fishing tackle and Giant  STP mountain bike taken.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Newnham Drive – Glue put into front door lock.
  • Whitby
  • Staffin Avenue – Satellite dish pulled off and damaged by 2 males who had been cleaning the gutters. – believed damage caused as complaint had been made regarding the standard of their work. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Hawthorn Road – Rear garden entered and lock on hot tub damaged.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Large stone thrown by unknown at front window causing it to smash.
  • Northern Rise – 2 youths smashed up bus stop – named suspects.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flea Market – Whilst shopping in the market IPhone taken from pocket by unknown offender.
  • Burnell Road – Offender approaches rear of commercial premises and having put a ladder up against the wall climbs up wall and steals CCTV camera.
  • Wellington Close – Rear garden entered and insecure Apollo bike, leaning against wall taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Whilst using fast food restaurant aggrieved person accidentally leaves wallet on table which has then been taken.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike, secured in cycle rack at the Ellesmere Port Sport Village has the lock cut through and is taken.
  • Stanney Lane – 2 bikes, blue Carrera mountain bike and black childs mountain bike, locked together and secured outside the Ellesmere Port Sports Village taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Changing room at Holiday Inn entered and access gained to locker where a wallet, containing cash and cards is removed from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Thelwall Road – Carrera Hellcat mountain bike, left by cash point taken.
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – Offender/s have entered petrol station and after going over to the jet and forced open side metal door.  An unsuccessful attempt has then been made to access metal cash box within.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dover Drive – Vauxhall Astra van, DE59 LKY stolen during a burglary at 5 units on Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre. – Vehicle recovered in Sandringham Gardens.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Mitsubishi Shogun, parked on forecourt of Mitchell Mazda has rear registration plate, bearing W578 RCA taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Renault traffic Van has front quarter window forced open and IPhone 6, which had been left on charge taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Whilst on a delivery an insecure Ford Transit is entered and bag containing cash taken from the dashboard.  Offender seen to get into the passenger seat of a light blue car before making off.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Mill Lane – Stone thrown through window of VW Golf and bag taken from rear of vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Chrysler taxi, has front window smashed. Nothing taken. -  Witness reported seeing someone on a push bike looking around vehicle.  
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Priestfield Road – 2 separate incidents involving Vauxhall Meriva, parked on residential road scratched during the same evening.  On the 1st occasion the side of vehicle was scratched with an unknown implement and on the 2nd paint was thrown over the vehicle and the front and rear offside tyres were slashed.
  • Dover Drive – Vauxhall Combo Van has window smashed whilst in business unit at Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre during burglary of multiple units.
  • Newnham Drive – Vauxhall Antara found to have screw in tyre which tyre company have said been screwed in.  A day earlier the owner had found a sharp piece of metal in one of the tyres.
  • Milton Road – Vauxhall Astra estate has rear offside window smashed.  Blood splashes recovered from window.
  • Coliseum Way – Vauxhall Tiguan, parked in car park approached by unknown male offender who has caused extensive damage to the car door by either scratching or stabbing at it.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Vauxhall Corsa , parked on driveway has bonnet scratched. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – Rear windscreen of Ford Tourneo taxi smashed by a pellet gun.
  • Parkgate
  • Grenfell Park – 2 separate vehicles, parked at Mostyn House damaged.  A Land Rover Defender is scratched to the front and rear offside door panels and another vehicle (no further details) is scratched along nearside door.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Unknown item thrown at bus smashing window.
  • St. Pauls
  • Wilmslow Drive – Vauxhall Insignia  has wing mirror kicked off.
