 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Eton Road - 2 males enter rear garden having scaled fence.  Attempt to force ground floor living room window, causing damage to the bottom rail of the window.  Made off after being shouted at by home owner who has been alerted by family dog.
  • Strawberry
  • Randle Meadow – Lock forced on rear door to gain entry.  Untidy search made of lounge and kitchen and car keys for Vauxhall Astra, DK14 ZMZ taken along with vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Station Close – 2 males seen kicking the door.  Entry gained but they then ran off.  Whilst in attendance it became apparent another garage had been entered and fishing equipment had been taken – 2 males arrested.
  • Netherpool
  • Bailey Avenue – Plastic handle of shed hack sawed before door prized open.  McCulloch chainsaw in yellow and orange taken.
Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Caernarvon Court – Window smashed.
  • Little Stanney – Unused office building on Little Stanney Industrial Estate has lump of concrete thrown at upper floor window causing it to smash.
  • Rossmore
  • Nelson Road – Back gate kicked open causing damage to the hasp.
  • Broad Birches – Post box outside apartment block smashed in. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Front living room window has outer pane of double glazed window smashed. 
  • West Vale – Lit plastic white peg like item posted through letter box causing damage to the internal foot may.
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Avenue – Unknown person banging on front door asking to be let in.  Outer pane of glass in door smashed before person has left.
  • Sutton
  • Hardy Close – Front living room window smashed. – Named suspect.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ellesmere Port Market – Whilst using café bag, which had been pushed under chair taken by unknown offender.
  • Ellesmere Port Bus Station – Purse removed from wicker shopping basked whilst aggrieved waiting for bus.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Strawberry
  • Randle Meadow - Vauxhall Astra, DK14 ZMZ taken after keys obtained during a burglary at property. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Front of property approached and waterproof cover removed from Suzuki motorbike, DK07 KYA before the bike was then wheeled away. – Bike recovered having been set alight in school grounds.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Hall – Front registration plate, DG06 KHK taken from Toyota Corolla.
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Iveco box van has door locked popped to gain entry to cab.  Glove box searched and sat. nav. And phone charger taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • The Boulevard – Peugeot 206 has rear registration plate, displaying NG52 XOR taken.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Scooter, parked in rear communal yard has brake fluid cover smashed causing it to leak.
  • Broad Birches – BMW in silver has near side wing mirror smashed.   
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • St. Pauls Gardens – Ford Fiesta kicked and punched to bodywork causing denting – named suspect.
  • Chester Road – Taxi waiting for fare refuses a male who tries to get into the taxi.  In response the male strikes out at the taxi in his plywood fancy dress costume causing the window to smash. – Named suspect.
