17 to 22 December 2015
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Road West – Rear kitchen door forced open to gain entry.  Tidy search made and 2 watches taken. – Black BMW seen driving off from address at speed.
  • Netherpool
  • Warren Drive – Offender disturbed by home owner trying to force entry via back door.  Upon switching on lights offender has made off.
  • St. Pauls
  • Rossall Grove – Attempt made to gain entry into the premises with an unknown item which has left tool marks near to the door handle.  Fiat Punto also has scratch marks where it appears an attempt has also been made to entry the vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Rear ground floor bathroom window smashed to gain entry into property.  Set of keys taken. – Female arrested.
Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Brick thrown through living room window. 
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – Outer pane of glass smashed by offender hitting window. – Female arrested.
  • Grange
  • Kensington Road – Front gate damaged by cutting and removing padlock.

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Wheel clamp removed from vehicle. – Named suspect.
  • Marina Drive – Insecure ladies Carrera mountain bike taken from outside by unknown male who rides off in the direction of Westminster bridge. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Ipod, left on table at Yacht Inn taken by unknown person.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Peugeot Partner has rear registration plate, DG14 VTO taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Ford Fiesta has insecure boot opened and bag containing loose change taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rugby Road – Vauxhall has front windscreen hit with an unknown object causing it to crack and all the tyres slashed. – Named suspect.
  • Jubilee Green – Peugeot Horizon has near side rear window smashed.
  • Hylton Court – Vauxhall Corsa has rear window smashed.
  • Rossmore
  • Waters Business Park, Waters Road – Ford Mondeo, parked outside business unit scratched along the offside length of vehicle.
  • Meadow LaneVW Golf, parked on roadside has rear window smashed and dents caused to rear bodywork and near side door.
  • Crescent Road – Citreon C3 has substantial damage caused to rear door by offender/s kicking it. 
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Van broken into (no further details and tools taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Drive – Vauxhall Astra has windscreen smashed by group of youths who also remove the windscreen wipers.
  • Clayhill Green – Vauxhall Astra scratched along offside rear door by sharp implement.
  • Hargrave Drive – Vauxhall Frontera has front offside window smashed with a brick.
Other incidents of note 
  • Sutton Way – Brand new packaged sofa, propped up on its end next to door to 2 storey flat set alight by unknown person/s. This has in turn set the front UPVC door alight which has quickly melted causing the fire to spread to an inner porch area.
  • Neston – Male has tried to pass fraudulent bank notes in both the Brown Horse and Malt Shovel Inn in Neston.  Male seen to leave area in a black estate vehicle.
