 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stafford Gardens – Offender/s climb over rear boundary wall from alleyway to access rear of property.  Entry gained through insecure door.  Jewellery and wallet taken.
  • Whitby
  • Alderney Close – Property entered by unknown means and keys to black Skoda Octavia, DE62 EXZ taken along with the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Hillfield Road – Entry gained into property by unknown means during the early hours of the morning. Keys taken to a Vauxhall Corsa and BMW, LV56 VLN.  Corsa moved off driveway and left at roadside in order to access BMW which is driven away. - BMW activated camera in Liverpool at 3am.

  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Padlock from side gate removed to gain access to Kier Living Construction Site. Whacker plate and 2 x fluorescent lights on tripod stands taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden: 
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Village – Small storage area within grounds of Burton Manor entered by forcing lock on door.  Gardening equipment taken from within.
  • Sunningdale Way – Garden entered and shed containing geese entered.  2 geese taken from within.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Oakfield Terrace – Entry gained by unknown means into garden where a nail has been placed into door of shed to lever it open.  Unknown if anything has been taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Delamere Drive – Access gained to rear garden and insecure storage box entered.  Lock also broken off shed and various items included remote controlled petrol car, strimmer, various bicycle wheels and Carrera Subway mountain bike taken.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 incidents reported at separate garages within the communal parking area.  In the 1st reported incident 3 male offenders disturbed having used bolt croppers to remove lock to garage.  Motorcycle from within the garage had been removed and the offenders were attempting to start it. - Offenders made off having been disturbed, 1 on a push bike.  In the 2nd incident the lock has been prised off the doors to gain entry.  A sound mixer has been taken from within.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Palisade boundary fencing has been removed in what is believed to be an attempt to gain access to business site.  No further details. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – 3 windows to Neston High School damaged, possibly with an air weapon or similar.
  • Drake Road – Group of youths have smashed Perspex glass in bus stop and ripped away one of the side panels.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Little Sutton Library has stones thrown at window causing it to smash – these premises are` currently suffering with ongoing incidents of the windows being smashed.
  • Grange
  • Cannon Street – Garden gate forced open causing damage to lock.
  • Belgrave Drive – Front garden wall knocked down by unknown means.
Theft 

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – Dark grey Carrera mountain bike, left insecure inside foyer to Library taken – CCTV shows offender wearing a long parka coat with a fur hood. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Whetstone Hey – Business premises entered and money taken from tills along with CCTV equipment. – Male arrested.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Beechfield Road – Black AGS 125 motorcycle, OU61 DJD taken from outside address.
  • Whitby
  • Alderney Close – Black Skoda Octavia, DE62 EXZ taken after keys taken during burglary at property. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Hillfield Road – BMW, LV56 VLN taken after keys obtaining during a burglary at the property. - BMW activated camera in Liverpool at 3am.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Vauxhall Astra, YC05 HBJ taken from carpark of Wheatsheaf Public House. – Vehicle located Byrne Avenue, Rock Ferry, Merseyside and 2 males arrested.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Grange
  • Heather Close – BMW has side window smashed and handbag and contents taken from within.
 Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Meadow Caravan Park, A5117 – Whilst making enquiries unattended police vehicle has both offside tyres slashed.
  • Whitby
  • Tynesdale – Ford Focus is scratched along passenger side of vehicle whilst parked at roadside.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Vauxhall Mokka jumped on by group of youths causing denting to bonnet and roof. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • New Road – Suzuki Alto, parked in parking area to rear of property scratched along passenger door.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Vauxhall Corsa has rear windscreen smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Ringway – Peugeot Taxi has offside front window smashed.
 Other incident of note...
  • Cheshire Oaks Coliseum – Security have been approached by 3 separate consumers to report their purses have been removed from their handbags whilst they have been shopping in the area.  PLEASE BE VIGILANT.
