 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  •  Ellesmere Port Town
  • Denbigh Court – Entry gained into first floor flat.  Kitchen window smashed and x-box and games taken.
  • Whitby
  • Windsor Drive – Having jumped over gate to access rear of property offender has entered property through a patio door which may have been insecure.  House and car keys taken.  Vehicle still at location. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Entry gained by unknown means at the rear of the property. Keys to a Blue ford Fiesta turbo, DK65 KNX taken along with the vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:

  • St. Pauls
  • Rivacre Business Centre, Mill Lane – Fire doors broken to gain access.  Metal racking and vending machine knocked over and contents taken along with a piano. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Welsh Road – Door frame forced on a detached garage/workshop in residential housing complex. Unknown what items have been taken at this time.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Loud bang heard by resident who then found window had been damaged and letter box hanging off.
  • Coliseum Way – Group of rowdy customers refuse to leave ‘The Hungry Horse’ public horse and whilst waiting for police to attend a male within the group smashes the light above their table before the group all run off. – Male arrested.
  • Stokesay Court – Brick thrown through window. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Side window broken by unknown means.
  • Hawthorn Road – Window in rear door smashed. – Male arrested.
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – Unknown object thrown at front window causing the glass to crack.
 Theft
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby Road – Black glass TV stand, left outside flat taken.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – 2 wooden fence panels removed from rear boundary fence.
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Quantity of cash taken from clothing left within the locker area at the Holiday Inn gym.
  • Clover Birches – Battery operated PIR security lighten on driveway taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Handbag and contents taken from beneath table in Maddison’s Café Bar.
 Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Blue ford Fiesta turbo, DK65 KNX taken after keys obtained during a burglary.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Weaver Road – Ford Mondeo, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means.  Untidy search made and tools taken from within.
  • Jersey Avenue – Ford Fiesta, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means. Tools taken from boot area after an untidy search.
  • Guernsey Drive – Insecure Mercedes, parked on residential driveway entered and Tom Tom sat. nav. taken from glovebox.
  • Stanney Woods Estate – During early hours of Sunday 28th February 8 reports were received relating to theft from motor vehicles. 3 x vehicles in Lundy Drive – Citroen Synergy, Jaguar X Type and Mitsubishi Shogun. 3 x vehicles in Alderney Close – Vauxhall Insignia, BMW 318D and Skoda Superb. 1 x Lindisfarne Avenue – Vauxhall Astra. 1 x Guernsey Drive – Mazda 3. – Suspect arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hadlow Road – Nissan Almera, parked in car park has rear side window smashed.  It appears that someone has looked around the inside of the vehicle but nothing has been taken.
  • Heath Lane – 2 vehicles, parked on the car park of the Brook Meadow Hotel have been entered and had tools taken.  1st vehicle is a Toyota Hilux which has the lock on the rear door broken to gain access.  2 portable generators and a small bag containing tools taken.  The 2nd vehicle was a VW Caddy with entry having been gained by smashing a rear window.  2 drills and a bag of electricians tools taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Broxton Road – Nissan Sunny has passenger door bent back to gain access. Untidy search made within the vehicle although nothing appears to have been taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Jubilee Green – Vauxhall Astra scratched alongside of body work.
  • Cambridge Road – VW Polo has drivers side window smashed.
  • Wellington Road – Hyundai Sante Fe scratched along door panel.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Whilst being driven along Stanney Lane and unidentified object has been thrown at a Toyota Corolla causing the offside drivers window to smash. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential driveway has rear window smashed by unknown means.
 Incidents of note.....
  •  Neston – 2 reports received of males trying to pass counterfeit £20 notes.  In the 1st 2 males have tried to pay for drinks at the ‘Old Quay’ public house.  In the 2nd a male has tried to pay for goods at Tesco, The Cross using notes which have displayed the same serial numbers.
  • Halton Road – Vauxhall Combo van found to be containing a Suzuki motorbike reported stolen from Chester. – ongoing police enquiries.
