  Burglary
   Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Milton Road – Glass in front door smashed to gain access. Untidy search made and Ipad and jewellery taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston & Burton
  • Old Hall Lane – Entry gained into one of Earles Cottages by smashing rear patio door.  Untidy search made and Xbox 1 taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Acre Road – Door bell to property rang but not answered.  Occupants have then confronted a male who has accessed the property through the rear door.  Upon being confronted the male has grabbed a handbag, which was on the back of a chair and left on foot through the rear garden.

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – In response to alarm sounding at industrial unit CCTV has shown offender/s arrive in a Ford motor vehicle where they have then cut the padlock of the perimeter gate to gain access to the site.  They have then used bits of masonry to break the front security lights before making off after the alarm has sounded.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Entry gained into convenience store via breaking in through rear door.  Quantity of tobacco, cigarettes and paracetomol taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Clayhill Industrial Estate – Windle Court – Entry gained into unit by smashing front door.  Unknown what property has been taken at this time.
  • Clayhill Industrial Estate – William Court – 2 separate units have been entered.  In the 1st the roller shutter have been force open to gain entry.  Once inside an internal office door has been smashed open.  Unknown what property has been taken at this time.  In the 2nd the front door has been forced.  No further details.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Precinct – Commercial business entered via door during business hours.  Quantity of cash removed from till. – Male arrested.

  • St. Pauls
  • Heath Grove – Insecure shed entered and 2 new wheelbarrows taken from within.
Criminal Damage 
   Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Windows at property smashed, possibly by using garden furniture. – Named suspect.
  • Croft Court – Plastic guttering fire damaged after possible abandoned motor vehicle set alight. – No reports received relating to vehicle.
  • Milton Road – Front window smashed on 3 separate occasions during the week.
  • Durham Court – Rock thrown through 2nd floor window.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston & Burton
  • Cliffe Road – Side bathroom window smashed.
  • Ledsham & Manor
  • Chester Road – Wheelie bin at the rear of the building society set alight.
  • St. Pauls
  • Whetstone Hey – Lock to metal shipping container cut off.  Specialized XC mountain bike taken from within.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue – Window to property smashed. – Female arrested.
  • Overpool Road – Front living room window smashed.
Theft 
 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Whitby High School – Rock Hopper mountain bike, left in bike sheds secured with security chain removed by unknown means.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST
     
  • Willaston & Thornton
  • New Road – Access gained to rear gated yard of White Lion Public House where security chain is removed from a Cube bike before it is taken.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Precinct – Commercial business premises entered during business hours and charity box taken from counter. – Male arrested.
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Mongoose TYAX bike, left insecure outside property taken.
Vehicle Crime 
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Robinson Road – 2 separate reports received. 1st - Entry gained into a Mazda via unknown means.  Interior searched and a small quantity of loose change taken. 2nd – Insecure BMW 320 entered and iPad and childrens clothing taken from within.
  • St. Andrews Road – Nissan, parked outside property has rear passenger window smashed.
  • Warwick Court – Toyota Aygo, parked in residential parking area of flats has both front and rear registration plates, displaying CX60 UFD taken.
  • Lower Mersey Street – 8 separate reports received on the 14th of vehicle having been broken into on the car park of the Holiday Inn.  All had been entered by smashing the front passenger side window. 1st Nissan Qashquai has damage caused to the window rim. 2nd BMW has a packet of mints taken from within. 3rd Mercedes has Gucci shoes, sun glasses and a key fob taken. 4th Citroen has a sat. nav. taken. 5th Range Rover not reporting anything taken at this time. 6th Mitsubishi Outlander has sun glasses, earrings, phone charger and loose change taken. 7th Renault Clio nothing reported taken. 8th BMW Mini has an Apple Ipod taken. – 2 males arrested.
  • Whitby
  • Islay Close – Secure Vauxhall Astra entered by unknown means.  Search made within and shopping bags have been placed on the ground to the rear of the vehicle but left at scene. – linked to spate of vehicle crime on Stanney Woods Estate 27/28 March.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham & Manor
  • Berwick Grove – VW Passat has rear registration plate, displaying MM15 UJH taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Links Avenue – Insecure Ford C Max, parked on residential road entered and sat. nav. And loose change taken from within.
  • Rivacre Brow – Citroen C4, parked secure on car park to Rivacre Valley Primary School has front passenger window smashed and handbag taken from within.
  • Grange
  • Brooklyn Drive – VW Golf has front and rear registration plates, displaying PE53 AMX taken.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Arthur Avenue – Dacia Sondera, parked at roadside has rear door/window damaged by unknown means resulting in glass being smashed and denting left in.
  • Princes Road – Peugeot 206, parked at road side set alight. – 2 males arrested.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston & Burton
  • Sandon Crescent – Audi A3 and Mitsubishi pickup, parked on residential driveway have unknown substance thrown over them causing damage to the paintwork.
  • Willaston & Thornton
  • Orchard Lane – Jaguar S Tye is scratched along body work. – Names suspect.-
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – On 2 separate occasions a Ford Fiesta, parked on driveway has been damaged.  In the 1st incident it has been scratched along the length of its offside.  On the 2nd white paint has been thrown over the vehicle.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Unknown male seen to kick wing mirror off a Ford Fiesta.
  • Chester Road – Citroen Berlingo, parked on the Golf Club car park has the passenger window smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – Ford Transit has drivers side window smashed.
  • Sutton Way – Whilst driving past the area of Tesco Express a youth has thrown a brick at a public bus causing the glass in the emergency door to smash.
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – Ford Fiesta, parked at roadside has unknown substance thrown over whole of vehicle which has caused damage to the paintwork.
  • Faraday Road – Ford B Max, parked at roadside has rear drivers side window smashed.
