 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Enfield Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to force entry through UPVC door.
  • Denbigh Gardens – After an unsuccessful attempt to force rear door entry gained via reaching through cat flap and using key left in door. Tidy search made and cash, vouchers and keys to a Silver Vauxhall Vectra, DC07 CXP and a White Renault Megane, DT14 AUP taken along with the vehicles. – Vauxhall Vectra recovered on Stanney Lane.  Renault Megane recovered on St. Davids Road, Wirral.
  • Stanney Lane – Rear door to garage forced open causing alarm to sound.  Damage caused to door.
  • Strawberry
  • Juniper Drive – Entry gained via insecure door.  Purse taken from handbag. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mudhouse Lane – Kitchen window broken to gain entry. Quantity of photographic equipment and whiskey taken. – Male arrested.
  • Neston
  • The Quillet – Damage caused to fence where offender/s have climbed over to enter rear of property.  Dog flap ripped off door but no entry gained, possibly due to dogs being inside the property.
  • St. Pauls
  • Acre Road – Entry gained by unknown means.  Keys to Suzuki Swift, KR61 DJV taken along with vehicle – Vehicle since recovered from Rostherne Avenue.
  • Sutton
  • Bebington Road – Entry gained via rear of property.  Keys to Blue Vauxhall Astra, DE14 VJN taken along with vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – The Groves Social Club, was entered by unknown means with damage caused to internal doors and cash taken from the fruit machines.  The premises have been exited via the fire exit.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Lock cropped off substation door to gain entry. Approximately £20,000 worth of cable removed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Containers on the site of Bridge Community Farm entered and generator taken. 
 Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Beechfield Road – Garden wall kicked until it has collapsed. – Named suspect.
  • Durham Court – Brick thrown at window.
  • Thornton Road – Old Kennel block at Stadium set alight by local youths.
  • Rossmore
  • Hallwood Walk – Unknown offender has kicked front door several times causing damage to the wood and the door handle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Shakespeare Road – Washing line cut.
  • Johnson Road – 2 separate incidents reported over few days.  In the 1st incident the front window of ground floor flat smashed.  In the 2nd the kitchen window was smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Trumans Lane – Unknown male seen to set bin in public park alight causing damage.
  • Gawsworth Road – Front window smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Eddisbury Road – Graffitti put onto the wall of Woodlands Junior School.
  • Seacombe Drive – Youths have set park equipment alight.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Strawberry
  • Conifer Close – Solar lights taken from garden.
  • Rossmore
  • Merseyton Road – Boardman mountain bike, left insecure outside office units taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – CBoardman CX Team bike in silver taken after being left insecure whilst owner tried to locate owner of found dog.
  • Grange
  • Brooklyn Drive – Fence panel taken.
Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Nissan, BD55 ODF, parked secure at road side taken. – Report from fire service that this vehicle was on fire at field near to Lime Street.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Acre Road –Suzuki Swift, KR61 DJV taken after keys obtained during burglary. – Vehicle since recovered from Rostherne Avenue.
  • Sutton
  • Bebington Road – Blue Vauxhall Astra, DE14 VJN taken after keys obtained during burglary.
  • Overpool Road – Black Peugeot Speedfight Scooter, FX58 EEJ, left secure in the car park of the Sir Robert public house taken.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Edinburgh Court – Front and rear registration plates, displaying DA05 EJF taken from Peugeot 206. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Oak Road – VW Golf has front and rear registration plates, bearing DS62 DFP taken.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – VW Golf, parked on car park has a screw/nail pushed into the tyre causing damage.
  • Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village – Ford Fiesta, parked on Car Park A scratched along the length of the offside.
  • Ewloe Court – Fiat Punto has rear window smashed and wing mirrors damaged.
  • Strawberry
  • Peterborough Close – VW Passat, parked securely on driveway has an attempt made to access via drivers door which has caused damage to the door handle and locking mechanism. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Ford Ka, parked at West Cheshire College scratched along drivers door.
  • Overpool Road – Vauxhall Meriva has rear window smashed.
  • Princes Road – Large stones thrown at BMW 316 causing rear window to smash.
Other incidents of note... 
  •  Wellington Road – Whilst female packing her car, in the car park of Aldi a foreign lady has approached her asking for urgent help to go to the hospital.  She has passed her a notepad to write something on to distract the female while removing her bank cards from her handbag.
