 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Malvern Avenue – Unsuccessful attempt to gain entry through patio doors leaving door handles hanging off. Side gate to property has also been damaged. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – Entry gained via a possibly insecure kitchen window.  Offenders possibly disturbed by home owner upon their return home.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Mason Close – Entry gained by forcing the rear French doors.  Untidy search made within but nothing believed taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Westenra Avenue – Entry gained by forcing rear lounge window.  Bright green Trek mountain bike, handbag and cigarettes taken.
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Rear garden entered and insecure kitchen window opened to enable offender to reach in and remove a wallet and cigarettes from the windowsill.  
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Crow bar used to force open door to park gardeners mess room. Untidy search made within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Christleton Drive – Insecure detached brick building entered and 50 featheredge boards, used for fencing taken from within. 
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Drunk male upon leaving ‘Hungry Horse’ has kicked out at the front door causing the safety glass to shatter. – Male arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Churchill Court – Stone from nearby garden used to smash outer pane of glass in window of ground floor flat.
  • Raby Park – Group of unknown youths have thrown a rock at window causing it to crack.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Entry gained into old school building where old wooden filing cabinets, in one of the rooms have been set alight.
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – 3 windows in shed smashed.
 Theft
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Cash taken from a jacket left in and insecure locker at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Front fence panel taken by unknown person/s.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Guernsey Drive – Chevrolet Lacetti, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means.  Untidy search made and loose change taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Farmers Heath – Insecure Peugeot 207, parked on residential driveway entered.  Untidy search made and small amount loose change taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Woodacre Road – Ford Mondeo, parked at roadside entered by forcing rear nearside door.  Untidy search made within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Rear window of Renault Scenic smashed by unknown means.
  • Sherbourne Road – Vauxhall Corsa courtesy car, parked on residential road scratched along offside with unknown implement.
Other incidents of note
  •  Cheshire Oaks
  • Two males trying to pass fake £50 notes reported at Sainsburys' and Holland and Barrett.
