 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kenilworth Court – At some point during March entry was gained into a flat by forcing the front door.  TV, DVD and clothing taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Colemere Court – Offender has entered rear yard and reached through an insecure window and removed keys to a Vauxhall Vectra, MK05 CMO.  The vehicle has then been taken. – Vehicle recovered in Bebington, Merseyside. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Regal Close – Rear garden entered and entry into property gained through an insecure door. Untidy search made and cash and jewellery taken.
  • Sutton Way – Entry gained into first floor property by forcing prising front door open with a screwdriver of similar type implement.  Untidy search made within and Xbox, laptop and money taken. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – After accessing the community garden the rear door to the lodge has been kicked a number of times in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Mill Lane – Offender/s have approached secure farm site and cut through lock to gain access to the site.  The locks to the main office have them been cut through.  Nothing believed taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Unsuccessful attempt outbuilding near to the bowling green. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Padlocks broken off shed in order to gain entry.  Power tools, Chainsaw, strimmer and electric drills taken.
  • Sutton
  • Charter Crescent – Lock to garage ripped of but access prevented by an unsuccessful attempt to remove a 2nd lock.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellesley Walk – Letter box cover broken off door by unknown means.
  • Thornton Road – Offender/s have entered insecure site of old greyhound stadium where rubbish underneath the sports stand has been set alight. – Male arrested.
  • Cheshire Oaks – 2 males approach the rear loading area of Yankee candle where they are seen to be smoking.  The males appeared to be doing something near to an area of waste packaging before leaving.  The packaging has then been seen to ignite.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Group of youths have caused damage to wooden beams on the decking area at the bowling green.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – White paint thrown over front living room window, plants and artificial grass. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Eldon Terrace – Brick thrown through front kitchen window.
  • Neston
  • Ashfield House – Unknown object has hit front door of address causing damage to locks.
  • Netherpool
  • Plemston Court – Offender/s have entered communal area and kicked door to one of premises causing the door to crack.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Entry gained into old school building where a chair has then been set alight causing damage.
  • Grange
  • Bishops Gardens – Lock broken off gate.
  • Sutton Way – Windows to 2 flats have been found to have small holes in, possibly caused by a pellet gun.
 Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Colemere Court – Vauxhall Vectra, MK05 CMO taken after keys taken during a burglary. – Vehicle recovered in Bebington, Merseyside. 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warkworth Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in rear parking area has both front and rear nearside wheels removed and taken by unknown offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Lupus Way – Mitsubishi Colt has passenger window smashed and glove box searched.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Grange
  • Aldgate – Insecure Toyota Hilux, parked on residential street entered and wallet taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • Straker Avenue – Unknown male on pedal cycle has thrown an unknown item at the passenger window of a Vauxhall Corsa causing it to smash. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Oliver Lane – Ford Transit, parked in car park space has front windscreen cracked by an unknown object.
  • Sutton
  • Church LaneFiat Punto, parked at roadside has rear windscreen hit with an unknown implement causing the glass to shatter.
Other incidents of note 
  •  Joseph Groom Towers – Report received from concierge that a resident had seen someone trying car door handles in the area.
  • Parklands – Report from Fire Service of house fire – female arrested.
  • Portside North – Cannabis Farm discovered in one of business units.
