Vehicle Crime Advice

Dear Congleton Residents,

As the bank holiday approaches can I urge you to take extra precaution with regards to keeping your vehicle secure. As we all know the bank holiday can be a busy time, however ensure that as part of your daily safety checks make sure that your vehicle is locked at all times and that you remove any items of value out of your vehicle. Make sure that you keep the keys to your vehicle safe in your household and keep them away from any doors to your house and keep them out of sight.

Please also be extra vigilant and look out for your neighbours and if you see anyone acting suspiciously at any time of day then call 101 and report it to us.

All these actions will help to keep your vehicle safe and decrease the chances of you becoming a victim of vehicle crime.

Many thanks

PCSO 21547 Matthew Steele
