 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Alnwick Drive – Entry gained into ground floor flat of old ‘Wing Half Public House’ site by an insecure door.  2 male suspects confronted by passer-by and an iPad was recovered. – Named suspect.
  • Whitby
  • Carrick Drive – 2 properties targeted during early hours of the morning. 1st property has entry gained via unknown means through the front door.  Tidy search made of ground floor and purse, cash and camera taken from within. 2nd property entered via a possibly insecure door.  Ground floor searched.  Not know if anything taken at time of writing. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – 2nd floor flat entered via insecure window.  Tidy search made.  Nothing believed taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Dunmore Road – Entry gained into property via unknown means. Untidy search made and cash taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Oliver Lane – Entry gained via rear door.  Tidy search of living room and handbag taken.
  • Hawthorn Road – Attempt made to enter property by 2 unknown males.  Disturbed by home owner and made off in the direction of the train station.
  • Sutton
  • Capenhurst Lane – Glass smashed in rear upvc door to gain entry. Untidy search made within. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Strawberry
  • Hope Farm Road – Access gained to the ‘Seahorse Public House’ by unknown means. CCTV ripped off the wall and the inside of the pub has been totally ransacked.  Large quantity of cash removed from safe.
Criminal Damage
  Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Woodfield Road – Damage caused to glass panel in front door by unknown means.
  • Whitby Road – Window cracked at ‘Essence of Spice’ by unknown means.
  • Beaumaris Drive – Unknown offender has approached plastic fencing, secured with plastic ties and using an unknown implement cut through six plastic ties.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Brick thrown at window causing it to smash. – Named offender.
  • Frome Court – Ground floor rear window smashed by youths playing football. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Marshlands Road – Outer pane in double glazed window smashed by unknown object.
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Sky lights at Neston High School smashed.
  • Netherpool
  • Carlton Crescent – Water balloon thrown from first floor communal area onto garden table causing drinking glass to smash. – Named offender.
Theft
  Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – Roof of Ellesmere Port & District Social Club accessed via fire escape and 10ft of lead removed.
  • Marina Drive – BMX Kink, left insecure outside Lloyds Bank taken.
Vehicle Crime 

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Carrick Drive – Insecure Vauxhall Meriva, parked on residential driveway entered.   Glove box and cigarette tray opened but nothing taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • North Parade – Isuzu Pick-up entered by unknown means.  Handbag taken.
  • Sutton
  • Saltersgate - 4 separate properties have their vehicles, which were all parked on residential driveways accessed by unknown means. Volvo entered via front offside door.  Glove box and centre console searched but nothing taken.  The 2nd vehicle was a Renault Clio, again searched but nothing taken. The 3rd vehicle was a Skoda Fabia, nothing believed taken. The 4th vehicle was a Ford Galaxy which was entered and 2 males disturbed by the home owner who ran off in the direction of Horstone Road.  
  • Wyndham Crescent – Insecure Vauxhall Vectra entered.  Untidy search and quantity of loose change taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Saab 93, parked on car park of Asda scratched along the front passenger wing by an unknown implement.
  • Regent Street – Rear windscreen of Suzuki Swift smashed by unknown means.
  • Whitby
  • Vale Road – Porsche, parked at road side scratched along rear panel, has the near side wing mirror damaged and has a nail found in the near side rear tyre. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – Vauxhall Insignia, parked opposite Tesco has near side passenger window smashed by unknown means.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Ford Kuga, parked at roadside scratched along the length of the drivers side with an unknown sharp implement.
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Windscreen, rear screen and near side window of Mercedes parked on residential street.
  • Chester Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked within the grounds of telephone exchange has damage caused to the bodywork on the roof of the car and a crack to the windscreen, possibly by a thrown rock which was found nearby.
Arson
  • Hillside Drive – Garden set alight by unknown persons.  The fire has burnt away some fence panels, bins and metal shed at the rear of the property.  Due to the close proximity of the shed to the house some damage has been caused to the property.
  • Woodchurch Lane – Boarding up removed from old school site sports hall to gain entry.  Once inside an unknown accelerant has been used to set fire to the toilet area. – Named offenders.
