 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warwick Court – 2 males seen trying to climb through a window.  Disturbed by home owner.  
  • Whitby
  • Walnut Grove – Access gained by unknown means and keys to  black VW Polo GTI, DE16 XDS taken along with the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Wetherby Way – 2 males disturbed attempting to enter the front door. – Males arrested.
  • Ross Drive – Entry gained through small conservatory window.  Property moved and left in rear garden.  Ipad, tablet, laptop and handbag taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – Entry via insecure patio door. Tidy search of living room and kitchen and cash and bank cards taken.  Card then used in town centre atm.
  • St. Pauls
  • Queens Road – Entry gained in to rear garden and an unsuccessful attempt made to gain entry via the kitchen door by kicking.
  • Grange
  • Queens Gardens – Lumps of masonry have been used to smashed both ground floor front and rear windows, as well as forcing window panel to gain entry.  Untidy search made X Box, games  and Samsung television taken. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Offender/s have climbed over a locked gate to approach a commercial premises on Cheshire Oaks Trading Estate.  Alarm box knocked off and external shutter damaged. Quantity of clothing taken.  Patrols came across a vehicle being loaded with clothing which made off towards M53. – Vehicle later recovered. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Village – Gladstone Village Hall entered and untidy search made causing damage to phone, tills and bar area.
  • Neston
  • Buildwas Road – Unsuccessful attempt to force entry through rear door. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden: 
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Eagle Lane – Entry gained to secure, alarmed garage by unknown means. Racing bike and Scott Scale 35 mountain bike taken.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flint Court – Brick thrown through lounge window.
  • Whitby
  • Scilly Close – Ground floor window smashed by brick. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raleigh Road – Brick thrown through door window.
  • Shakespeare Road – Stones thrown causing window to smash.
  • Ladies Walk – Youths throwing bricks at the bus shelter outside the railway causing it to smash.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Window smashed. – male arrested.
  • Sutton
  • Himalayan Birch Close – Female offender has accessed external meter box and turned power off causing damage to boiler circuit.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Rooster Big Dad BMX, left behind other bikes in garden taken.  Other bikes left in garden.
  • Whitby Road – Unknown offender on forecourt of Shell garage picked up a Samsung Galaxy 3s, which had unknowingly dropped out of aggrieved persons pocket when they were fuelling vehicle.
  • Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village – Carrera mountain bike, left insecure in bin store taken.
  • Whitby
  • Kinsey Road – Purse taken from bag left in disabled toilets at Marks & Spencer.
  • Chester Road – Whitby Group Practice had a number of blank prescriptions taken in May and someone has attempted to use one at Boots on Cheshire Oaks. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • The Looms – 4ft fig plant taken from garden.
  • Sutton
  • Cavell Drive – Carrera Vengeance, left in alleyway between houses taken.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 males have gained access to a coffee machine within Cheshire College and taken the cash box from within.
  • Sutton Way – Insecure Kona Landi mountain bike taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Walnut Grove – Black VW Polo GTI, DE16 XDS taken after keys obtained during a burglary. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • The Loops – Mazda MX5 parked on the road outside his address has passenger quarter light smashed by unknown means to gain entry. The vehicle then appears to have been pushed down THE LOOMS towards BROOKE HEY where the vehicle was found with damage to the cowling. The driver and passenger seats have then been slashed, exposing the foam and an attempt has been made to light the foam.
  • Sutton
  • Northern Rise – Secure Vauxhall Astra SRI, parked at roadside taken by unknown means.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Leighton Road – Ford Mondeo has rear nearside window and rear seat pulled forward to access the boot.  Nothing taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester High Road – 2 vehicles parked in car park of nursing homes entered. Vauxhall Corsa has front passenger window smashed to gain entry and a cooler bag taken from the foot well. Hyundai IX35 has passenger window smashed  and bag and phone taken.
  • Grange
  • Mallory Road – Ford Focus door bent back to gain access.  Ban card taken from centre console. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dover Drive – Ford Fiesta has 5 nails put into offside rear tyre – Named suspect.
  • Whitby
  • Scilly Close – Window of Audi smashed by brick. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Greasby Drive – Nissan X-Trail, parked at roadside has coping stone thrown through rear window.
  • Broadland Road – Ford Fiesta scratched along the side, possibly either whilst at home on residential driveway or at Countess of Chester Hospital.
