Macclesfield Local Policing Unit- Congleton
This is to inform you that we have had 2 reports of cars being entered and sat navs, tablets and cameras stolen on Surrey Drive and the cul-de-sacs off Surrey Drive, Lower Heath in Congleton. The first Incident occurred on the 9th August and the second on the 12th August 2016. We have had similar reports of vehicle crime and interference in other parts of Congleton.
  • Make sure your car is locked and activate all security devices
  • Always park your car in a safe, well-lit place and use a garage if you have one
  • Never leave your keys in any place within your home that can be reached through the letterbox
  • Don’t leave valuables on show, even loose change or clothing may attract attention
  • Remove any pucker marks left on the window from sat nav systems
