 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cricceth Court – Unknown male has entered rear garden and opened an unlocked kitchen door.  Disturbed by occupant and made off on foot in the direction of Alnwick Drive.
  • Rugby Road – Entry gained via a possibly insecure rear kitchen window.  Number of power tools taken.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Wetherby Way – Ground floor lounge window forced to gain entry. Tidy search made within and car keys, wallet and purse taken.  Yellow Audi A3, BJ56 ZLY then taken from outside address.
  • St. Pauls
  • Sheepfield Close – Entry gained into rear communal area. Offender/s has then made an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into a ground floor flat via the window leaving marks on frame. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Meadow Lane – Lock cut from rear steel security door to industrial unit. Rear wooden door then forced open to access building.  Full search made within and numerous power tools and 2 x roll cabinets, filled with tools taken.  The keys to a White Ford Transit, NC57 TNZ taken, along with the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Cross – Access gained to rear of premises by wedging the the back open.  No search made but alarm smashed off wall. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rugby Road – Planks from fence removed to allow access to side of shed, which has then been removed to gain access. Hand and power tool taken.
  • Whitby
  • Woodsome Drive – Shed entered by unknown means and tool box taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Both locks on garage door have been tampered with and damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Shephard Close – Carrera Kracken mountain bike, secured with a padlock and chain inside shed taken by unknown means. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Pooltown Road – Outbuilding at ‘Whitby House’ Care Home and climb onto roof of bungalow where they have then stripped a 2ft square section from the roof to allow entry below.  An unsuccessful attempt has then been made to force open a cupboard before making off.
Criminal Damage 
  Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – ‘Cube’ area, next to skate park has small section set alight by local youths on 2 separate days within this time period.
  • Whitby Park – Lower roof at Whitby Lodge climbed onto and a number of tiles damaged.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Window smashed with stone. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Upper floor bedroom window damaged by unknown means.
  • High Street – Window at ‘Claire House’ shattered by unknown means.
  • Liverpool Road – 6 fence panels to ‘Fiveways Nurseries’ damaged by kicking.
  • St. Pauls
  • Alvanley Road – Kitchen window damaged by a stone.
  • Grange
  • Kensington Road – Aerosol can, thrown over fencing by travellers on illegal camp site, smashes glass in green house.
Theft  
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wolverham Road – Fruit machine within ‘The Cat’ PH tampered with. – Named suspects.
  • Whitby
  • Longlooms Road – Samsung Galaxy mobile phone removed from an unattended handbag on a picnic tables outside the ‘Blue Planet’ aquarium.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Parade – Set of 3 tier aluminium ladders, from BT engineer working in nearby flat taken.
  • John Street – 2 insecure BMX bikes, 1 in black and purple, one in blue and back taken from garden around 4am by 4 unknown males. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Frobisher Road – Carrera Sulcata in black and orange taken from rear garden.
  • Parkgate
  • Insecure white Cannondale bike taken from outside Neston Library.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Duddelston Road – During 3 month period quantity of copper cable taken from substation.
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive / Chester Road – During 3 month period quantity of copper cable taken from substations.
Vehicle Crime 
  Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Meadow Lane - White Ford Transit, NC57 TNZ taken after keys obtained during a commercial burglary.
  • Chapel Close – Blue/black Lexmoto Gladiator 125, MM64 BOF, parked on residential driveway taken by unknown means.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Wetherby Way - Yellow Audi A3, BJ56 ZLY taken from outside address after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • St. Pauls
  • Wilmslow Drive – Honda PCX 125 in white, DE12 HNG taken by unknown means.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rugby Road – Peugeot 206 has damage caused to the locks in a possible attempt to gain entry after tools taken during a burglary.
  • Princes Road – Nissan Navara has both registration plates, T9 KTA  taken.
  • Whitby
  • Pembroke Drive – BT Openreach Transit van has spare when taken from underneath vehicle.
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – VW Transporter has front registration plate, MF58 TFN taken and an unsuccessful attempt to remove the rear registration plate. – Registration plate, NC57 TNZ left behind, which relates to a motor vehicle stolen from Meadow Lane during a commercial burglary.
  • Meadow Lane – Citroen Relay has front registration plate, YL15 ARF taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • Hillside Drive – Vauxhall Corsa has near side front window smashed and purse and contents taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warkworth Court – Citroen C4, parked at roadside keyed along door panels on both the offside and near side. – Named suspect.
  • Wolverham Road – Front passenger window smashed on Vauxhall Corsa.
  • Girton Road – Side of caravan hit by unknown item causing side to split.
  • Kinsey Road – VW Golf, parked on car par at Cheshire Oaks has a deep scratch made into the rear offside door, wing and bumper.
  • Whitby
  • Elm Grove – Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Astra, parked outside residential address on roadside both scratched along length of the offside of vehicles with an unknown item. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Station Road – 2 vehicles at separate addressed damaged. Fiat 500 has figure of 8 scratched into the passenger door and scratching over rear wheel arch. Citroen Berlingo has drivers side window smashed.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Karen Way – A number of vehicles parked in road scratched along sides, Fiat 500, VW Polo, Ford Fiesta, Opel, Vauxhall Astra and Iveco Daily Van. – Named suspect.
  • St. Pauls
  • Clayhill Green – All 4 tyres of Ford Fiesta, parked on driveway slashed.
  • Sutton
  • Peckforton Drive – Ford Fiesta has near side panel scratched with an unknown implement.
