 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Beechfield Road – Boarding on front door of unoccupied property prised off to gain entry.  No further details in relation to any property removed from within.
  • Durham Court – Lock on front door tampered with.  No entry gained.  An attempt has also been made to force the door open causing the bottom of the door to crack.
  • Whitby
  • Fairview Road – Hall window smashed and offender reaches in to obtain keys to a Silver VW Transports, MC15 LWS, which was parked on the driveway. Vehicle driven off in the direction of Mansfield Road – Hall window smashed and offender reaches in to obtain keys to a White Vauxhall Astra, BX16 MPZ, which is then taken from the driveway. – Vehicle located in Hampton Gardens. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Ascot Drive – Entry gained in to rear garden, then using a plant pot, smashed the glass of french doors to gain entry.  Tidy search made. Unknown if anything has been taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby Road – Shop entered through an insecure door.  Nothing taken but the offender/s have caused damage to the door handle on exit.
  • Enfield Road – Entry gained into garage by unknown means and quantity of items taken from within. – Female arrested.
  • Civic Way – Unknown offender has entered an area of the Civic Hall not open to the public and taken a coffee making machine, bags of filter coffee, bag of catering tea bags and ice cream from the freezer. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Screws on lock unscrewed to remove lock from shed at allotment site.  Petrol strimmer taken from within.
  • Parkgate
  • Station Road – Lock jemmied off shed door and Kona Operator bike in black and green taken.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Offender has accessed building under renovation by unknown means.  Tools being kept in an office on the first floor are taken by the offender/s who leaves via a fire exit door.
  • Poole Hall Industrial Estate – Entry gained into building site and 2 containers, mess room and office jemmied open. Keys to a storage container obtained and entry gained, taking a kettle, tea, coffee and a diesel in a steel container.  
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Newnham Drive – She entered by forcing padlock.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
  • Whitby
  • Clydesdale – Entry gained into detached garage by forcing window.  Unknown if anything has been taken at this time. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Lane – Male offender disturbed loading property into a vehicle from an out building at ‘Woodside Nurseries’.  - Property recovered.
  • St. Pauls
  • Farndon Road – At some point over a 5 month period a quantity of copper piping has been taken from the electricity sub-station.
  • Spring Gardens – Sub-station entered and approx. 10 metres of earthing copper bar taken.
  • Pooltown Road – 20 metres of copper tape removed from sub-station over a 3 month period.
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Approx. 6/7 metres of Copper earthing cable removed from sub-station.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Malvern Avenue – Rear bedroom window smashed, possibly with a stone.
  • Croft Court – Living room window smashed.
  • Stanwell House, Arrow Court – Ground floor kitchen window smashed with a brick.
  • Victoria Road – Front room window smashed.
  • Princes Road – Front room, door and side window smashed by unknown offender.  Damage also caused to curtain pole and blinds.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Graffiti sprayed onto the back wall of the property.
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Offender/s have accessed communal hallway of flats and spread emulsion paint over the walls and floor.
  • Firenza Avenue – Pink camping chair and stone thrown through living room window. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Romney Close – 3 x 5ft fence panels kicked by 3 youths causing damage. – Named suspect.
  • Derwent Way – Group of males fighting have kicked down a fence to the rear of property.
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Whilst left unattended has damage caused to the seat and handle bars as well as being moved around 50ft from locations.
  • Chester Road – Barrier to ‘Phillip Bates and Co. Ltd’ bent back by an unknown male causing damage.
  • St. Pauls
  • Greenfield Road – Brick, from within garden used to smashed front ground floor window.
 Theft
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – Carrera Fulcon mountain bike in green, left secured outside the library taken by unknown offender, leaving lock insitu.
  • Marlborough Road – Insecure Cult BMX taken from football pitch.
  • Doune Ct. – Whilst walking dog a male offender has ran past, snatching handbag.
  • Whitby Road – Insecure Carrera Vulcan mountain bike in black, green and white taken from outside the ‘Express Café’.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Mobile phone taken from inside the hair salon.
  • Strawberry
  • Hope Farm Road – Insecure green and black Aspect 930 mountain bike, left leaning against door of ‘Co-Op’ taken by unknown offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Dawes Bullet mountain bike in black with white marks on the handle bars taken from behind a display shed at ‘Burleydam Nurseries’.
  • St. Pauls
  • Christleton Drive – Rear garden accessed via a bolted gate.  Boardman Comp 6586 bike in blue taken.
  • Old Chester Road - Patients phone, Samsung Galaxy, left in reception area of Dr’s surgery taken by unknown offender.
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Gate to rear of address forced and white mountain bike, with Bike Factory stickers on taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Fairview Road - Silver VW Transports, MC15 LWS taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Mansfield Road – White Vauxhall Astra, BX16 MPZ taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle located in Hampton Gardens. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Knottingley Drive – Renault Clio, parked on driveway has front passenger door levered open to gain access.  Search made within glove box and damage also caused to the immobiliser.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Skoda Octavia, parked on car park 3 at Cheshire Oaks has 3 dust caps removed from vehicle.
  • Whitby
  • Woodsome Drive – Lock forced on Mercedes Sprinter to gain access.  Petrol Stihl saw and 2 Senco screw guns taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Access gained into an insecure Ford Transit, parked in car park of ‘Wheatsheaf’ PH.  Dewalt nail gun, petrol tile cutter and various other items taken from within. 
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Vauxhall Combi van, parked at ‘The Old Quay Hotel’ has front and rear registration plates, displaying DY57 LYR taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Jessop Ct.Mitsubishi L200 has spare tyre removed from the vehicle at some point within the last 3 months.
  • Kentridge Drive – Insecure Renault Megane coupe entered and overnight clothing taken from within, which is discarded in a nearby field.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Insecure, damaged Vauxhall Astra entered and various property taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Gawsworth Road – Nissan Juke, parked on residential road has near side window smashed and bag removed.
  • Mill Lane – Renault Kangoo, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means, leaving no damage makes tidy search and takes quantity of loose change. – CCTV shows the offender to be wearing a mask of some sort.
  • Sutton
  • Chase Way – Audi SQ5, parked on driveway is entered by unknown means. Set of golf clubs and clothing taken from the boot and an iPod taken from the glovebox.

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Drive – Unknown male has approached a Honda Civic and pulled a pizza delivery sign from the roof causing damage to the paint work.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Woods Country Park – Ford Fiesta has rear drivers side window smashed.
  • Strawberry
  • Lime Tree Close – Toyota Yaris found to have numerous scratched over vehicle.
  • Rossmore
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Vauxhall Astra has extensive damage caused after being attacked with a hammer. – Named offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Rockfarm Drive – Audi A1 is drawn along the length of the vehicle with a permanent marker which has removed paint work.
  • Neston
  • High Street – Fiat 500, whilst stationary at traffic lights has damage caused to the bonnet by male jumping on it. – Named offender.
  • Westlands Close – Vauxhall Astra has both wing mirrors damaged, the dust caps removed and air released from both front tyres by unknown offender/s.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Armthorpe Drive – Vauxhall Adam has side window smashed with a brick.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Court – Peugeot 206 has wing mirror pulled off leaving exposed wires.
  • Sutton
  • Rannoch Close – Vauxhall Insignia has both front and 1 rear tyres slashed by unknown offender.
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Male jumps on bonnet of Dacia as it is being driver down the road causing a large dent to the bonnet.
Other incidents of note. 
  •  Denbigh Court – Audi A3, stolen with keys after a burglary in Wetherby Way in August located in garage area.
