Hello and welcome to the September Cheshire Alert Newsletter. Please encourage your friends and family to sign up to receive monthly updates on what is going on in your area.

Over the past month we have had numerous reports about gates being left open around Higher Poynton and the Adlington area. This has resulted in animals leaving their secure pens. Please be mindful if you are out enjoying the countryside and please always close a gate behind you.
 

Property and Vehicle Crime

Between 31st August and 1st September a burglary occurred on Coppice Road. Offenders entered an outside shed and stole a petrol lawn mower and mobility scooter. If you have any information please call 101 and quote incident 543 01/09/2016.

On 18th September between midnight and 6.30am a property was broken into on Park Avenue and items taken. If you have seen or heard anything in the area at the time please call us on 101 quoting incident 235 18/09/2016.

Overnight 23rd -24th September criminal damage has been caused to the rear of Wells Pharmacy, Park Lane. Several youths had been seen in the area. If you know who is responsible please call 101 and quote crime number 0716295693.

Overnight 4th -5th September a blue Honda Civic was stolen from Tern Drive. If you have any information or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area please let us know by calling 101 and quoting incident 134 of 05/09/2016.

Around 1.30am on 18th September offenders were disturbed on Woolley Avenue after smashing a rear glass door. If you have any information Please call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 96 of 18/09/2016.

During daylight hours on 27th September a burglary occurred at a property on Chester Road. Please call 101 and quote incident 565 if you have any information.

Dates for your Diary

Officers will be holding a Crime Prevention Surgery at Waitrose on Saturday 15th October, 10am - 12pm.

Officers will be holding the next Working Together meeting on Tuesday 25th starting at 7.30pm, Poynton Civic Centre. Please feel free to come along to find out what has been happening in your area and discuss any local issues you may have.

Officers will be holding the Higher Poynton Surgery at The Trading Post, Lyme Road on Sunday 30th October, 10am - 12pm.
