16th to 26th October 2016
 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Eton Road – Access gained to rear of property via side gate.  Rear window smashed to gain entry and search made of within.  PlayStation and PC base unit taken.
  • Whitby
  • Clydesdale – Entry gained to rear of property where a brick has then been used to smash pane of glass in rear door. House/car keys and purse taken. Vehicle not taken from address.
  • Rossmore
  • George Street – After hearing the front door rattle the resident has seen a torch light being shone through the lounge window from the front garden.  Figure then seen to stand on window ledge and open window before running off after being disturbed when the light has been switched on.
  • Lime Street – Entry gained via an insecure ground floor window. Laptop, handbag and purse taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Briardale Road – 2 separate incidents by possibly same offenders.  In the 1st entry gained via rear conservatory window.  Untidy search of conservatory and kitchen.  Handbag and keys to a blue Mazda MX 6, SK63 WHG taken along with the vehicle. – Vehicle located in Lancaster having been burnt. In the 2nd entry was gained through secure front door by unknown means.  All upper kitchen cupboard doors found to be open and a Cannon Powershot camera taken. – Camera located in front garden of property few houses away.
  • Parklands – Entry gained into property by unknown means.  House and keys to a black VW Polo, DE03 VBA taken along with the vehicle. –Vehicle located parked up in parking area on Hawthorn Road.
  • Sutton
  • Loxdale Drive – Entry gained by unknown means.  Purse and cash taken. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley View – Metal cladding on shed cut and metal roof peeled back. 
  • Woodvale – Lock on garage door broken off to gain entry.  Pair of Stihl hedge clippers, Stihl leaf blower and McCulloch strimmer taken.
  • Glenwood Road – 2 separate properties have had their rear gardens entered and sheds broken into.  In the 1st a screwdriver has been used to remove the hinges, leaving the padlock in place.  Sander mountain bike and rucksack taken.  In the 2nd the lock has been forced from the shed and nothing is believed to have been taken.
  • Parklands – Entry gained into shed by unscrewing bolt.  2 mountain bikes and large quantity of fishing equipment taken.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Durham Court – Kitchen window smashed.
  • Hawarden Gardens – House brick thrown through front window.
  • Stanney Lane – Front lower window at Park Family Centre damaged, possibly by a pellet gun.
  • Durham Court – Lump of concrete thrown at ground floor kitchen window causing the outer pane to smash.
  • Winchester Avenue – Brick thrown through front window.
  • Whitby
  • Deeside – Small stone thrown at bedroom window smashing the outer layer of the double glazing.
  • Rossmore
  • Edward Street – Unknown person kicked front door causing damage to the lock. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Court – Unknown white power put onto plants in garden causing them to die.
  • Greenfields Drive – Front window broken by unknown means.
  • St. Pauls
  • Romiley Road – Unknown offender, using unknown item has caused large crack to green wheelie bin.
  • Sutton
  • Pooltown Road – Front window smashed by unknown object.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • South Road – Dark coloured Land Rover Free Lander drives onto construction site and approaches insecure holding area.  A concrete cutting saw is then taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – During the hours of darkness a dark coloured Mitsubishi drives onto car park and connects an Ivor Williams Twin Axle trailer to their vehicle before driving off.
  • Dudley Road – Six miniature army service medals taken from a box within property. – 3 named suspects
  • Whitby Road – 2 Charity box and float money taken from ‘Ascot Salon’ over past 2 weeks. – named suspects.
  • New Bridges Road – Secure, unattended excavator with road breaker parked up behind plastic barrier on site at side of road taken by unknown offender/s.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Whilst shopping in Next handbag and shopping bags placed onto the floor whilst reporting person has been viewing items within the store.  Upon going to leave noticed handbag has been taken.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Samsung Note 3 removed from coat pocket in staff changing rooms at Morrisons. – Phone located at Cash Generators / Named suspect.
  • Strawberry
  • Alder Drive – Indesit washing machine, left on driveway whilst being repaired taken by unknown person.
  • Rossmore
  • Egerton Street – Access gained to rear garden by climbing over fence.  Insecure dark blue Merida Cycle Cross bike taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Zinc BMX, left unattended in the park taken by unknown offender.
  • Burton Road – Milk taken from doorstep of ‘Neston Playgroup' on a few separate occasions.
  • Ledsham and Manor 
  • Ledsham Road – 2 separate incidents reported where cash cards have been retained in the ATM and then cash has been withdrawn from the ATM outside the Post Office on Chester Road. In one incident the card has also been used in ‘Home Bargain’.
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Road – 6 planters and contents taken by unknown offender.
  • Naylor Court - Family members have noticed a gold Seiko watch has gone missing from a relative at ‘Mayfield Residential Home’.
  • Seymour Drive – Several plastic and terracotta pots, containing assorted plants and bushes taken from front garden.
  • St. Pauls
  • Thelwall Road – Insecure yellow and green mountain bike taken from outside Tesco Express.
  • Heathlands Road – Dishwasher and vacuum cleaner, left on driveway to be scrapped taken by unknown offender.
  • Sutton
  • Ascot Drive – Bay tree in pot taken from driveway.
  • Hope Farm Road – Grey and orange Carrera sol bike, left in hallway of ‘The Straw Hat’ ph. taken by unknown offender.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 Pandora rings, left by the sink in the ladies toilets at West Cheshire College taken.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Dunbar Close – Honda CBR 125, DK14 TVA, parked in courtyard of flats taken by unknown means.
  • Briardale Road – Blue Mazda MX 6, SK63 WHG taken after keys taken in a burglary. – Vehicle located in Lancaster having been burnt.
  • Parklands – Black VW Polo, DE03 VBA taken after keys taken on a burglary. – Vehicle located parked up in parking area on Hawthorn Road.
  • Southfield Road – Red Honda CBR, Y919 HWT has steering lock broken and is moved 200 yards down the road before being abandoned.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Hawarden Gardens – Insecure Vauxhall Vectra entered.  Cash and other items removed from glove box.
  • Market Square – Vauxhall Astra, whilst parked on car park near to ‘ Jollies’ has the anti-theft dust caps removed causing damage to the tyre valves. – Named suspect due to CCTV footage.
  • Rossmore
  • Charles Price Gardens – Insecure Saab, parked on road near to garages has front badge removed from vehicle before also removing a blue disabled badge and small quantity of change. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Burton Road – Secure Ford Transit entered by unknown means causing no apparent damage.  Makita combi drill, bright orange Fein multi tool and Makita radio taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Renault Clio has drivers side window smashed by unknown implement and purse taken from within which has contained cards, later used in 2 shops. – CCTV shows a male, riding on a bike, pass the vehicle and look in before returning and smashing the window. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • The Oval – Peugeot 106, parked at roadside has wing mirror damaged by unknown means.
  • Strawberry
  • Kerry Croft – Renault Clio, parked in residential road has rear offside and nearside windows smashed with a brick.
  • Rossmore
  • George Street – Citroen DS3, parked in a residential road, has large dent and scratching made to the body work, above the rear window, by a dart board which has been swung round by a male standing in a group of youths nearby. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Burton Road – Vauxhall Corsa, travelling under road bridge is hit by stone causing damage to the vehicle. – Further report of things being thrown from the bridge reported few days later but no damage caused on this occasion.
  • Parkgate
  • Liverpool Road – Arriva bus, heading in the direction of Birkenhead has window smashed by a rock, thrown by an unknown offender.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Grove – Mercedes, parked in residential area scratched with an unknown implement on 3 separate panels.
  • St. Pauls
  • Heath Court – Audi, parked on residential car park has the word ‘MONEY’ scratched into the body work.
