Fire awareness - Bonfire Night

Alert message sent 31/10/2016 14:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Bonfire season is here again and we all love getting wrapped up warm and watching the displays. Unfortunately, leaving flammable waste in gardens and in the streets can result in fires a little too close to home. Be sure to remove flammable waste, such as cardboard, paper or fabrics, from gardens to prevent it being picked up and used in un-official bonfires. These little actions can help prevent anti-social behaviour and make everyone a little safer.

If you have any issues with fires, fireworks or anti-social behaviour over the seasonal period, be sure to call us on 999 for emergencies or 101 for non-emergencies.
