On Saturday 22nd October Officers held a Bike Marking Event on Park Lane. Thank you to all those who attended. 37 bikes were security marked in total. We will look at holding our next bike marking event sometime in Spring.

Officers were kept busy on 31st October with numerous calls of anti-social behaviour relating to Halloween, including eggs being thrown at houses. A BIG thank you to everyone who enjoyed Halloween and were considerate to residents not wishing to take part in the Halloween festivities.

Property and Vehicle Crime

Between 1st and 10th October a vehicle was damaged with a sharp implement whilst parked outside of Oaklands Court, Oak Grove. If you have any information please call 101 quoting incident 163 17/10/2016.

During daylight hours on 9th October a burglary happened on Hope Green Way and cash and a laptop were stolen. If you have any information please call 101 quoting incident 762 9/10/2016.

Between 11th and 13th October a shed was broken into on Park Lane and 4 push bikes were stolen from inside. If you have any information please call 101 and quote incident 786 13/10/2016.

Between 14th and 17th October a BMW was stolen from an address on Middlewood Road. If you have any information or have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area please call 101 and quote 396 17/10/2016.

Between 16th and 17th October a power washer was stolen from a garage on West Park Avenue. If you have seen anything suspicious please call 101 and quote Crime Number 0716322172.

On 17th October a vehicle was seized on London Road South for no insurance.

On 19th October a vehicle was seized by our Roads Policing Team for no insurance on London Road North.

Between 27th and 29th October a burglary occurred on South Park Drive. Three vehicles were stolen from the property however 2 vehicles were located in the Manchester area. If you witnessed anything please call 101 quoting incident 455 29/10/2016.

Officer will be holding a Rural Watch Meeting Wednesday 2nd November, 7pm at Café 31, Park Lane, Poynton. Space is limited if you wish to secure a place at the meeting please email PC Lesley Long on Lesley.long@cheshire.pnn.police.uk

Officers will be at the Joint Council Surgery on Saturday 5th November, 10am – 11am held at the Civic Centre.

Please be aware that road closures will be temporarily put in place around Poynton Town Centre on Sunday 13th November to commemorate the Remberance Day Parade and observe the 2 minute silence.

Officers will be holding a Crime Prevention Surgery at Waitrose on Saturday 19th November 10am – 12pm.

Officer will be at the Higher Poynton Police Surgery on Sunday 27th November held at The Trading Post, Lyme Road, 10am-12pm.
