 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road - Entry gained into flat via an insecure front door. Cash, tobacco and blue mountain bike taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Rear door smashed to gain entry.  Untidy search made and IPhone 7 taken.
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – Offender uses a ladder to gain access to first floor window of flat above ‘The Malt Shovel’ PH.  Upon reaching through the window and disturbing the occupier the offender falls to the ground and makes off in an unknown direction.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Vernon Avenue – Rear kitchen window forced and glass top half of door smashed. No entry gained as offender/s has possibly been disturbed. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Shed, situated in the grounds of the Boat Museum has panel on door kicked through to gain entry.  Quantity of industrial tools taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Heath Lane – Intoxicated male caught by staff coming out of the cellar at ‘Brook Meadow Hotel’ with 2 bottles of wine.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Male offender enters vehicle assembly plant and forces open 3 vending machines before removing the cash from within.  Office door is then forced open and a tidy search carried out.  Nothing believed to have been taken from the office. – Repeat location / Named suspect.
  • St. Pauls
  • Whetstone Hey – Brick thrown through glass panel in door to gain entry.  Quantity of cash and meat taken.
  • Sutton
  • Rear security shutters forced open.  Unsuccessful attempt made to prise open door causing alarm to sound. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Netherpool
  • Ferguson Avenue – Rear garden accessed by unknown means and padlock cut from shed door.  Large quantity of high value fishing equipment taken.
  • Sutton
  • Cholmondeley Road – Secure and alarmed garage, situated in a row of garages separate to properties has hinges removed from the door.  Alarm sounding has disturbed offender/s.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
Criminal Damage
  Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Bamburgh Court – Small bedroom window to front of property hit with an unknown object causing the outer pane to smash.
  • Dover Court – Lit firework posted through letter box into porch causing damage in mat.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Unknown object thrown at window causing outer pane of glass to crack.
  • Grasmere Road – Outer pane of glass in French door smashed by unknown item.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Upper floor bathroom window smashed by unknown means. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Group of youths breaking the glass in the bus stop located near to the ‘Wheathsheaf’ PH.
Theft
  Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Market Square – Boardman TX cross bike, secured with wire lock outside ‘Asda’ taken.
  • Wellesley Avenue – Unknown offender has tampered with electricity meter at residential property extracting electricity from it.
  • Kinsey Road – Luggage bag left outside coach, within coach parking area of 'Cheshire Oaks' taken by unknown.
  • Strawberry
  • Willowdale Way – Approx. 8 metres of earthing cable removed from substation.
  • Rossmore
  • King Street – Workmans bag left in rear alleyway taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Haddon Lane – Unknown offender/s have entered a field where fencing work has been carried out and removed 2 heavy mallets and a crowbar from inside a canvas cover.
  • Neston
  • Lees Lane – Over several days a total of 13 potted plants have been taken from outside a port-a-cabin in a rural car park.
  • St. Pauls
  • Fulwood Road – Scott SUB50 road bike, left insecure leaning against garage door taken by unknown offender.
Vehicle Crime
  Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • The Oval – Peugeot 106 has wing mirror cracked by unknown offender. – Repeat victim.
  • Rugby Road – Suzuki Wagon, parked in residential car park has both wing mirrors damaged.
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road West – Jaguar S-type has rear windscreen smashed by stone kicked into road by group of youths. – Named suspect. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Armthorpe Drive – Skoda Octavia, parked on residential driveway has a screw put into rear nearside wheel causing damage.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Sutton
  • Horstone Road – VW Polo, parked on driveway has offside wing mirror removed and taken by unknown offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Neston Road – Peugeot 206 has both the front and rear registration plates, displaying MM13 WHZ taken.  It appears has an unsuccessful attempt was also made to remove the registration plates from a neighbours vehicle. – Registration plates displayed on a white Ford Fiesta that obtained fuel without payment on 28/11 from ‘Shell’, Neston High Road at approx. 9.20pm.  
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • The Oval – Peugeot 106, parked on residential street has drivers side wing mirror damaged by unknown means.
  • Denbigh Court – Vauxhall Astra has front rear offside tyres slashed and windscreen cracked by unknown offender.
  • Cromwell Road – Honda Accord, parked outside business premises has passenger wing mirror damaged leaving the casing cracked,causing the mirror to fall out.  On the following night the wing mirror has again been damaged leaving it hanging on by the wiring, with the mirror missing.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in residential street has bonnet jumped on and windscreen kicked.  Denting has been caused to the bonnet. – Male arrested.
  • Percival Road – Male disturbed tampering with electrical lead attached to motor home. – Male arrested.
  • Grange
  • Whitby Road – Nissan Qashqui, parked on residential driveway scratched on bonnet and along the drivers side of vehicle. – Named suspect.
Other incidents of note...
  • Ledsham Road, Little Sutton – Small iPod camera found stuck above the cash machine located near to the traffic lights. – Camera removed but please be aware of anything/anyone who   may be acting suspiciously near to cash machines.
