Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Dear Residents ,
As Christmas is approaching I though I would send a more positive message informing you what we have done in your area over the last twelve months.

We have set up numerous Operations in the area including Op Shield which gave the opportunity for residents to security mark their valuables, and Op Scrambler which focused on the seizure of nuisance bikes.

We have supported other agencies including Halton Housing with issues of ASB in the area and resolving these problems.

Parking has been  a problem at schools, we have took action by issuing fixed penalty notices for parking offences and have posted regarding this on our social media pages but unfortunately it is an ongoing issue in which we would ask for your continued support.

We have targeted Drug Dealers and executed Warrants at various addresses which have led to numerous arrests for Drug offences.

Anti social Behaviour is not tolerated, we recently assisted residents in obtaining an injunction against a problem neighbour who was causing ASB to local families.

We like to hear any concerns or questions you may have, you can contact us on :-

Non Emergencies -  Call 101 , Email  Widnes.LPU@cheshire.pnn.police.uk

Emergencies  - Call 999

You can also contact us on our facebook and @widnespolice twitter page (please do not report incidents via social media pages).

We also have a “Working Together” meeting which gives residents the opportunity to meet with your local officer/s and speak about any issues / concerns you may have. These meetings take place on the last Thursday of each month between 10-11am at St Ambrose Church hall. Feel  free to come along!

PCSO Sheeran works alongside me and is the “eyes and ears” of the community. He is regularly patrolling on foot so stop him and say hello.
Finally we would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
