Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Dear residents ,
As Christmas is approaching I though I would send a more positive message informaing you what we have done in your area over the last twelve months.

We have set up numerous Operations in the area including Op Shield which gave the opportunity for residents to security mark their valuables, and Op Scrambler which focused on the seizure of nuisance bikes.

We have supported other agencies including Halton Housing with issues of ASB in the area and resolving these problems.

Parking has been a problem at Derby Road and at the schools. We have took positive action when possible by issuing fixed penalty notices for parking offences and have posted regarding this issue on our social media pages.
Unfortunately it is an ongoing issue in which we would ask for your continued support.

We are aware of reports of speeding in the Farnworth area and are taking positive action in the form of speed enforcement. Both PCSO Griffiths and I are being trained in the new year to use speed enforcement equipment so we can take action in problem areas more regularly.

There were a large number of Shed Breaks which occurred over the last few months, we are happy to say that we arrested a suspect for these offences and since we made this arrest the number of breaks has reduced significantly.

We like to hear any concerns or questions you may have, you can contact us on :-

Non Emergencies -  Call 101 , Email  Widnes.LPU@cheshire.pnn.police.uk
Emergencies  - Call 999
You can also contact us on our facebook and @widnespolice twitter page (please do not report incidents via social media pages).

We also have a “Working Together” meeting which gives residents the opportunity to meet with your local officer/s and speak about any issues / concerns you may have. These meetings take place on a regular basis at St lukes Church. The next meetings are on :-
Wed 11 Jan at 2pm
Wed 1 Feb at 2pm
Wed 15 Feb at 2pm
Feel free to come along!

PCSO Griffiths works alongside me and she is the “eyes and ears” of the community. She is regularly patrolling on foot in the area so stop her and say hello.
We would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
PC 4687 Pemberton & PCSO Griffiths
