A Happy New Year to you from Poynton Beat Team.
 

Officers were in attendance at the Poynton Christmas Fest on Park Lane on 6th December. The evening was enjoyed by all who attended and we received no reports of crime or anti-social behaviour relating to the event.


Property and Vehicle Crime

Between 30th November and 1st December a property on Ragley Close was subject to an attempt break in. The rear patio doors were damaged but no entry was gained. Incident 1023 of 1/12/16.

Overnight between 5th – 6th December a burglary occurred on South Park Drive. And 2 vehicles were taken from the driveway, the vehicles have since been recovered and enquiries are continuing. Incident 106 of 6/12/16.

Overnight between 5th – 6th December a burglary also occurred on London Road North. Entry was gained to a detached garage and push bikes were stolen. Any information please call 101 quoting incident 127 of 06/12/16.

Around 6pm on 6th December a burglary occurred at a property on Woodside Lane a high value push bike and laptop were stolen from the property. Incident 755 6/12/16.

In the early hours of 9th December a vehicle was stopped by officers on Woodford Road and the driver arrested for drug related offences.

At 11pm on 10th December a vehicle was stopped by officers on London Road North. The vehicle was seized for no insurance and the driver arrested for failing a roadside drugs test.

Between 2pm and 9pm on 12th December a burglary occurred at a property on Chester Road. Rear patio doors were smashed but no items taken. If you have any information please call 101 quoting incident 915 of 12/12/16.

Overnight 17th – 18th December a number of thefts from motor vehicles were reported to us on the Bird Estate. Please ensure that your vehicles are locked and that you do not leave items on display.
