 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wolverham Road – Entry gained by smashing panel in rear door.  2 laptops taken.
  • Rugby Road – Window of property broken to gain entry.  Full list of items taken not yet known. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Highfield Road – Entry gained by forcing rear downstairs window. All rooms, including loft entered and untidy search made throughout. Jewellery, cash and small Yorkshire Terrier dog taken.
  • Mere Close – Entry gained after brick thrown through rear patio door.  Not know if anything has been taken at this time.
  • Capenhurst Lane – Insecure door to kitchen opened and alcohol, near to door taken.  Home owner had stopped a male on driveway who said he was looking for somewhere and had the wrong address.
  • Green Lane – Window smashed on front door and entry forced into property.  Unknown if anything taken from within.  Same offender has also forced entry into garden shed and taken fishing equipment from within. – Male arrested.
  • St. Pauls
  • Cedar Avenue – Property entered by rear upper floor window. Jewellery taken.
  • Grange
  • Flatt Lane – Unsuccessful attempt made to enter via rear door causing damage to the surround.
  • Sutton Way – Entry gained via an insecure kitchen window.  Tidy search made and laptop, jewellery, alcohol, aftershave and cash taken.
  • Dale Drive – Rear window smashed but entry not gained.  Offender/s has then entered the shed and using tools from within removed window from rear door to gain entry.  Tidy search of cupboards and drawers made and laptop taken.

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road East – Offender/s in Transit van pull up to barrier at ‘Lakeland Motor Company’ and remove padlock to barrier.  After driving around to the rear of the building they have attached an insecure caravan before driving off. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Road – Door prised open on shipping container used for storage.  Drain camera unit, with control module and Karcher jet wash taken.
  • Rossmore
  • William Johnson Gardens – Hole made into garage door by unknown means. Nothing taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Rose Gardens – Garage locks tampered with and items moved around within but nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Hookstone Drive – Main door opened by unknown means.  Merida Matts 80 mountain bike in green and gold taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Heath Lane – Locks prized off shed door to gain entry. 3 x Boardman bikes taken. 2 hybrid and 1 racing.
  • St. Pauls
  • Greenfield Road – Lock cut from garage door.  No entry believed to have been gained nothing taken.
  • Red Lion Lane – Lock broken off shed door also causing damage to door.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Bottle thrown at window of ‘White Swan’ smashing it.
  • Sutton
  • Budworth Road – Brick thrown at front window causing outer pane of glass to break.
  • Greasby Drive – Outer pane of window smashed by an unknown item.
  • Grange
  • Tennyson Road – Unknown object thrown at upstairs bedroom window causing the outer pane to smash.
Theft
  Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum WayUnknown offender/s have entered ‘Megabowl’ during open hours and forced a metal bar and padlock from 2 machines before removing cash. 2 further machines have been damaged. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Ladies Walk – Taxi driver drops off 2 male passengers at Neston Railway Station who both run off without making payment.
  • Ringway – Insecure Voodoo bike, blue frame/white forks removed from garden.
  • St. Pauls
  • Woodvale Road – Insecure red mountain bike removed from garden.
 Vehicle Crime
  Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stour Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential road has an attempt made to prise open the drivers window.  Vehicle locks have also been damaged.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Beechcroft Drive – Toyota Argo, parked in residential street has the rear nearside door forced to gain entry.  Handbag taken from within.
  • Rossmore
  • Slackswood Close – 3 youths disturbed trying to prise open the door of Nissan Micra.
  • Grosvenor Wharf Road – Wing mirror on Vauxhall Corsa clipped by Nissan Juke causing a small scratch.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Grenfell Court – Front and rear registration plates, displaying DF64 YMY taken from a Fiat 500.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Thorne Drive – BMW one series, parked on residential driveway has front and rear registration plates, displaying SP62 UKV taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked in residential parking bay has front registration plate, displaying NL60 NSJ taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Naylor Place – Ford Ka has rear registration plate, displaying CW04 FOM taken.
  • Sutton
  • Randle Meadow – Citreon Berlingo pharmacy van, parked in car park overnight has rear offside wheel removed by unknown means and an attempt made to remove the front wheel. The rear wheel was taken.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – Toyota van, parked at roadside has wheel cover removed before 3 nuts are removed.  Cover replaced.  Wheel has fallen off as owner has drove off alerting them to the theft. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanlaw Road – Peugeot 207 has bumper partially removed by unknown offender/s. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Leighton Road – Nissan Qashquai left with dent to front panel after driving has asked male wandering down middle of road if he was ok.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Offenders have entered garage forecourt and kicked the wing mirrors off a Vauxhall Corsa, Rover 25 and Ford Mondeo.  They have also knocked the bumper off a Vauxhall Astra.  Damage has also been caused to a disused petrol pump.
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – Vauxhall Astra set alight. – Male arrested.
  • Sutton Way – Group of youths throwing stones at passing vehicles. Vauxhall Astra hit by stone causing dent to bonnet.
  • Grange
  • Fleet Street – Vauxhall Insignia, parked in rear garage area has brick thrown through rear window.
 Other incidents of note
  • Chester Road – ‘Help the Aged’ shop set a light by unknown offender/s causing substantial damage to property.
