 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Home owner has heard the kitchen door being opened and then closed. No search appears to have been made and nothing taken.
  • Whitby
  • Grassmere Road – Entry gained into garage via unknown means.  Using integral door offenders have entered kitchen and removed a snow board hat was leaning against the wall in a carry bag.
  • Strawberry
  • Cardiff Close – Entry gained via insecure door.  Keys to a blue BMW 118, MV57 FBO taken along with the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Boathouse Lane – Offender/s have entered side garden after scaling fence.  Boulder from garden used to smash through double glazed French window into lounge.  Tidy search made within property and jewellery taken.
  • Grenfell Park – Entry gained after smashing glass in door panel of conservatory and then glass panel of internal door into kitchen.  Untidy search made within property and gun safe and ammunition taken.  
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Woodland Road – Entry gained into garage via up and over door. 3 Hilti drills and bolts were taken.
  • Strawberry
  • Appledale Drive – Rear garden entered after offender/s have lifted fence panel from concrete base and climbed through gap. Entry gained into garden shed and a gents Giant Trance 3 mountain bike taken.
  • St. Marks Crescent – Fence panel removed to gain entry in to rear garden.  Roof of shed removed and black and orange Timberline mountain bike taken from within.
Criminal Damage
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – Double glazed window of lounge smashed by unknown object.
  • Rivington Road – 3 males having been using machine inside ‘Stanley Racing’ pick up stool and smash screen of machine.
  • Kinsey Road – 2 mountain bikes secured to drain pipe at rear of ‘Harry Ramsdens’ taken after offender/s have snapped the drain pipe. They were a silver/black Carrera Hellcat mountain bike and a black/white Merida.
  • Rossmore
  • Britannia Road – Gates to Stanlow Oil Terminal rammed by a white Transit van, which has then entered the site where they have remained for around 40 minutes, later heading off in the direction of Elton.  Unknown if anything has been taken.
  • South Pier – Gates to car park of ‘Boat Museum’ have the metal loop, securing the locks damaged to enable height restrictor to be opened.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Mill Street – Kitchen window smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Links Avenue – Outer pane of glass on ground floor living room window smashed.
  • Grange
  • Camden Road – 2 single panes of glass broken in front door.
  • Faraday Road – Outer pane of upper floor window smashed.
Theft 
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road -  Both the front and rear registration plates on a Hyundai i10, bearing J66 SGR taken whilst vehicle parked in car park of Ellesmere Port Hospital.
  • Stanney Lane – Unknown offender has removed a coat from an insecure locker at ‘David Lloyd Leisure’. A quantity of cash has then been removed from a wallet within the pocket before both the wallet and coat have been placed back into the locker.
  • Stanney Lane – Rucksack and 2 mobile phones, left on bench in changing room at ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ taken by unknown offender. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • The Priory – Orbea BMX taken from outside address.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Ledsham Road - Bomag tarmac roller, secured in fenced compound of ‘Cheshire Yeoman’ PH taken by unknown offenders.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Whilst in the ‘Hospice of the good shepherd’ and unknown offender has removed a Samsung J4 mobile phone from a handbag.
  • Sutton
  • Bebington Road – Quantity of copper cable taken from substation, after entry  gained by unknown means at some time between march 2016 and January 2017.
Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Strawberry
  • Cardiff Close - Blue BMW 118, MV57 FBO taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Rossmore
  • Stanley Road – Red Vauxhall Astra, MC03 OTF, parked on residential street entered by unknown means and driven off.  Vehicle located further down the road having crashed.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Insecure Rover 25 entered and blue disabled badge taken from within. – Badge located in front garden of another property within the road.
  • Coronation Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked at roadside has nearside front window smashed with a brick and a grey Sony Experia mobile phone and small amount of change taken from the centre console. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Mayfield Gardens – 2 vehicles, parked at roadside are both entered by unknown means and searched within.  Vehicles were a Renault Scenic and Peugeot 308 and nothing is believed to have been taken from either vehicle.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Vernon Avenue – Vauxhall Corsa has rear offside wheel taken leaving the hub cab lying on the grass.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue – Ford Fiesta, parked on residential road has panels to side windows prised in an attempt to gain entry causing damage. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on car park of ‘Westminster Business Park’ has offside front window smashed with a brick. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Mayfield Gardens – reports received from 2 addresses on this road.  In the 1st a Kia Sedona, parked at roadside has front offside tyre slashed. The 2nd vehicle, a Citreon Picasso, parked a little further down has all four tyres slashed.
  • Netherpool
  • Gowy Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential driveway has both tyres on the drivers side slashed by unknown offender.
Other incidents of note... 
 
  • Westminster Road – A male offender has entered the ‘Westminster News’ and demanded shop staff open till.  This has been refused so the male has stated he was in possession of a gun.  When staff have again refused the male has left the shop empty handed with no gun being seen or brandished.
  • Drake Road – 2 masked males have entered the ‘Go Local’ store and after threatening staff taken contents of the till and quantity of cigarettes before making off along Grenville Road.
