******Please be aware of a National scam******
This relates to a fraud, where the victim is elderly
The MO is;  The victims are contacted  via landline phone, the suspect is in possession of their personal details such as name, address etc.
The suspects states that he is from HMRC and that the victim owes tax. He then goes onto say that there is a warrant out for the victims arrest and requests payment via iTunes vouchers. The suspect then agrees a time to ring back and takes the ITunes voucher codes off the victim as payment.
Further enquiries are ongoing.

Please contact action Fraud on 03001232040 or online if you or anyone you know receives such a call or email and please pass this to others
