Macclesfield Local Policing Unit- Congleton
Unfortunately vehicle crime is still ongoing in Congleton, the following locations have been targeted over the past week: Lowe Avenue, North Street and Horace Lawton Court, Congleton. These incidents occurred overnight between 17th-19th February 2017. A mobile phone and laptop have been taken as well as driving licence and clothing.  
As we are currently experiencing a spike in vehicle crime we ask you to take precautions to prevent further incidents in your area. All vehicles have been left insecure
 
  1. Make sure windows and doors are locked
  2. Activate all security devices
  3. Always park your car in a safe, well-lit place and use a garage if possible
  4. Consider fitting lockable gates to drives
  5. Never leave your keys in any place where they can be reached through the letterbox with a hook and cane and out of plain sight
  6. If you have CCTV please check it for the times quoted above as it may help with lines of enquiry.
