Dispersal Order

Alert message sent 10/03/2017 10:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

A dispersal order for Chapleford Village will be in force from 4pm today, in a bid to crackdown on anti-social behaviour in the area.

This is following a high number of reports from the community and public concern due to the behaviour of individuals and groups in the locality.

The order will be in operation in the area until 4pm on Sunday.

Anyone issued with the dispersal notice must leave the area immediately or face further action.

The dispersal order gives a constable in uniform the power to direct any person who is in a public place in this locality not to return for the period specified.

This order is being issued for the purpose of removing or reducing the likelihood of members of the public being harassed, alarmed or distressed by crime or disorder, and more particularly by youth anti-social behaviour.
